Lodrö Thayé. This is the Prayer to the Life of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the Omniscient—The Sound of Auspiciousness. You know all that exists, just as it is and to the extent that it exists. With impartial compassion, you care for beings as if they were your own children. You are the king of dharma who can shake the very foundations of samsara. I pray at the feet of Khyentse Wangpo. You are the sole father of all the buddhas, the noble Manjushri. From the dharmadhatu, which pervades all that can be tamed, you manifest in various forms. I pray to you, who intentionally take birth as the glorious protector of the teachings and beings in these degenerate times. You are the land of virtue and healing in the four regions of Do-mé. You are the place where emanations perform the activity of taming beings. With the five supreme visions, such as pure lineage, I pray to you, who appear as an emanation body. The supreme guides who have attained wisdom Unanimously prophesied you as a holy being. Because you transcend the actions of ordinary people, all gods and humans Praise you as the protector of beings. I pray to you. You traveled throughout the great land of Tibet, Ü-Tsang. The eight great treasures of confidence were completely liberated. I pray to you, who have perfected the great power of the two kinds of knowledge. Grammar, logic, crafts, medicine, mathematics, poetics, and so on, You have mastered the five sciences, along with their branches. Your fame as a scholar has spread throughout the land of Tibet. I pray to you. You have mastered the Vinaya, Abhidharma, Madhyamaka, Prajnaparamita, and secret mantra. You have reached the depths of all the tantras simply by looking at them. You have attained the dharani of non-forgetfulness, like a stable wheel. I pray to you, who reveal it clearly without hiding it. Your stainless morality is adorned with jewels. Hiding your own qualities like a treasure in the ocean, praising and revering even the smallest qualities of others, for the sake of the Dharma and beings, giving away even the most precious possessions like grass, I pray to you. Possessing an ocean of dharani, samadhi, and clairvoyance, even though you have become an object worthy of worship by the three realms, without any arrogance, for the sake of a single word of the sacred Dharma, you bravely endure great hardships, I pray to you. For those who pretend to uphold and protect what appears to be the Dharma, without relying on any worldly activities, acting like a fearless lion in the manner of Samantabhadra, I pray to you, you are unparalleled in the world. Pouring all the teachings, instructions, and oral transmissions of the eight great chariots of the Kagyu lineage into your ocean of wisdom, constantly raining down the nectar of ripening and liberation, I pray to you, you continue the lifeblood of the Dharma. You are the great chariot of the complete and perfect teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha, a spiritual friend who tames disciples without discrimination, without bias towards any school, a jewel on the crown of all schools, I pray to you. All your actions are solely for the benefit of others, those who connect with you are meaningful, possessing many wonderful signs, creating an inconceivable accumulation of great merit, I pray to you, you are the master of the ten bhumis. The parents of Oddiyana, Vimalamitra, the Dharma Kings, the three ancestral kings, Chöwang, Kunkhyen, and so on, I pray to the gurus and yidams of the nine-yana lineage, grant blessings and siddhis. With the lineage of the compassionate Khuwon brothers, and the empowerment lineage, as well as other Indian and Tibetan scholars and siddhas, in visions, experiences, and dreams, repeatedly giving blessings, I pray to you. In particular, the teacher Manjushrimitra gave the sutras, tantras, and secret treasures, and blessed you into a wisdom body, awakening you to the complete wisdom and realization inseparable from the teacher, I pray to you. When you entered the Sangha, the great Soton, with the power of wisdom, purified the aggregates and elements of the degenerate age, transforming them into the three secrets of Vajrasattva, I pray to you, you are the supreme lord who pervades all lineages. The Queen Vajrayogini embraced you, the pure and vast mandala of appearance and existence arose, clearly seeing the mandala of the Vajra body.
