Alas! There is no connection of bardo at the time of death. The yogi without attachments, how happy is the mind! The yogi with a happy mind, how joyful is the practice! Joyful practice is the kindness of the Guru. Day and night, all six times, With strong devotion and longing, I have never been separated from the qualified Lord. I, the yogi without separation, how happy is the mind! The yogi with a happy mind, how joyful is the practice! Joyful practice is the kindness of the Guru. This small tune of six joys, I offer to the ears of the glorious Taklung Thangpa. I do not think that the time of relying on the Guru is short. The words "Please grant instructions" are kept in mind. This is called "The Song of Six Joys," spoken to the glorious Taklung Thangpa while residing in Bramo (phonetic) of Northern Namri (phonetic). I prostrate at the feet of the glorious Phagmo Drupa. Due to the kindness of the glorious Phagmo Drupa, Certainty has arisen in my own mind, And confidence in the mind of enlightenment has been gained. I, the yogi, wander in solitary monasteries, The experiences and realizations I have have become Dharma words. For the worthy and excellent disciples, Experiences and realizations are difficult. I, the yogi, wander in solitary monasteries, The qualities I have have become worldly. These "ka ca" are the cause of attachment and aversion, Destroyed by being sprinkled with the devil's powder. I, the yogi, wander in solitary monasteries, The attendants I have have become vulgar. There is little need for bad friends who lead one backwards, The actions of attachment and aversion never cease. I, the yogi, wander in solitary monasteries, The monks I have have become corpses. No one thinks about the needs of this life and the next, Destroyed by raising many retinues and disciples. I, the yogi, wander in solitary monasteries, The conduct I have has been lost in this life. Constantly pursuing worldly affairs, It seems like deceiving faithful disciples. I, the yogi, wander in solitary monasteries. The illusory person crosses the water of mirages, The lotus of the sky is sucked by a bee in a dream, A hermaphrodite boy plays the lute and sings. Saying that the ultimate truth is realized through worldly activities, A child without experience and realization says so. This stainless, pure white mind of my own, Make supplications to the sacred Dharma. On the non-dual mountain, A forest of great bliss grows. Remembrance
