If one accepts that something arises from another, if it is established in the 'other,' then the produced and the producer cannot be established; if the produced and the producer are established, then the 'other' itself is not established. Therefore, this notion of arising from another is not logical. Third, refuting by examining the four extremes: If the producer causes the produced to arise from another, then that cause is: existence, non-existence, both, or neither, what will arise? If the producer causes the produced to arise as something other than itself, then will the produced be existent, non-existent, both, or neither? Because there is no other possibility. Now, the first case is unreasonable: if it exists, what need is there for a producer? Because it is unreasonable for something already produced to be produced again. Because the faults of 'what is already born should not be born again,' etc., have already been stated. What can the producer do for something that does not exist? Because it does not exist, like a rabbit's horn. Therefore, in the Four Hundred, it is said: 'If someone thinks the fruit exists, or someone thinks the fruit does not exist, then for the sake of the house, pillars and other decorations would also become meaningless.' And the scriptures also say: 'If the nature of the fruit exists, what does the cause produce? If the nature of the fruit does not exist, what does the cause produce?' If both existence and non-existence are the case, then what do the conditions do for that? Because the faults have already been stated for both cases, and the nature of existence and non-existence cannot exist simultaneously in one thing. Therefore, the scriptures also say: 'How can Nirvana be both existence and non-existence? These two cannot exist in one thing, like light and darkness.' What do the conditions do for a fruit that is neither existence nor non-existence? Because the fruit is not existent, having abandoned both existence and non-existence. When neither existence nor non-existence is established, then by negating them, the negated existence is not established, and non-existence is not established either. As the scriptures say: Non-existent

It is not non-existent things, what it shows is the extinction of Nirvana. If non-existent things and things are established, then it will be established. This is what was said. Secondly, in the conventional blocking, there are two parts: refuting the argument and showing the answer. The first part is: All the reasons we have stated in order to establish arising from others are like dry firewood soaked in butter, burned by the fire of your wisdom, and it is enough to promote the firewood of reason that is ignited by the fire of your wisdom. If the reason is not shown, is it not possible to establish the meaning that one wants to manifest? No, because without reason, arising from others can be established from worldly fame. Like this: Staying in one's own view, because the world is considered a measure, then what is the use of speaking of reason here? Arising from others is also understood by worldly people, so since other-birth exists, what is the use of reason here? These worldly people do not follow reason, but stay in their own views, engage in accepting and rejecting, and also obtain meaning as they do. Therefore, since the view of worldly people is considered a measure, what is the use of speaking of reason when establishing other-birth? Because things arising from other causes are also known by the views of worldly people. Therefore, even without reason, other-birth exists, so what is the use of reason in establishing other-birth here? If blocking other-birth, it will also be harmed by the views of worldly people, is that so? The answer to this is:
