The Chapter on Empowerment and Prophecy of One Thousand and Two Buddhas by the Powerful Vajra. The Chapter on Empowerment and Prophecy of One Thousand and Two Buddhas by the Powerful Vajra. Then, the emanation's doctrine, the Great Snow Mountain Lake: The method of empowering the one thousand and two Buddhas with the ten powers is: The world realm called "Adorned World," in the four continents, there is the most joyful and beautiful four continents, prosperous, excellent, vast, and with great borders. In each of the four continents, there is a realm of eighty-four thousand yojanas. In the center of that is the palace of the accumulation of merit, called "Perfectly Pure." It is vast and extensive, adorned with gardens. Therein, the Chakravartin king is, named "Dhritarashtra," dwelling in bliss. Possessing the seven precious royal possessions, ruling over the four continents, there are seven hundred thousand consorts. The consorts have one thousand sons, adorned with thirty-two excellent marks. Then, the great king Dhritarashtra, on the full moon day, went to the garden filled with various flowers, and engaged in great play and enjoyment. The supreme of the consorts, named "No Inferior Mother," and the other named "Incomparable Mother," bathed in the pool called "Joyful," and after anointing their bodies with scented water, they sat on the lion throne, the excellent place of origin of the lotus. In the laps of those two, the prince is, a handsome youth, beautiful, pleasing to behold, with a good and increasing color, never knowing satisfaction. (25a) The two were born assuming the lotus posture. Then, in the space of an instant, from the sky, "This boy is a hero of the Dharma! The Incomparable Mother and son are the wisdom of the Dharma!" Thus, all the gods uttered a sound at once. Then, the two boys spoke in verses: "Those who generate the mind of enlightenment, and the protector of the world appears in the world, those who prostrate with a mind of great faith, they are the most fortunate to obtain goodness, cultivating the roots of virtue, bringing happiness to Jambudvipa, benefiting all sentient beings with great power, in the heavens there are precious jewels, but there is no comparison here with the supreme of men." After speaking many verses such as these, then, descending from the mother's lap, they went to the presence of King Dhritarashtra, prostrated at his feet, and stood with palms joined. "Father, please listen to my vow."

So! It is extremely difficult to find the Dharma in billions of kalpas. Having found it, wise people will never give it up until they attain enlightenment. There is nothing comparable to the nectar of peace, the unconditioned Dharma. May all sentient beings be filled with joy. Therefore, the sacred Dharma is said to be the most supreme. Thus, many verses such as (25b) were spoken. Then, the Dharma King, named Yulkhor Sung (Holder of the Realm), went to a secluded place. In front of the Vajra Master named Nüden Dorje (Powerful Vajra), the king stood with folded hands. By the power of the Dharma, tears flowed from his eyes. Always acting with love towards beings, and the divine child miraculously born in the queen's womb, he prayed, "Please make me free from all fears." After offering these verses, Nüden Dorje informed the king, teaching various extensive aspects of the Dharma, like the many bodies of a thousand Buddhas, whose marks and signs are extremely auspicious. He placed the names of the boys in precious vases and performed the sadhana, residing in the center of the mandala, so that everything would be accomplished. Having said this, then King Yulkhor Sung resided in the center of a tall, magnificent building, on a fine lion throne and lotus seat. He placed them properly inside and thought like this: "All of these young boys of mine have entered the unsurpassed, perfect path. I always wonder which of these young boys will become a Buddha first." He ordered the creation of seven precious vases, (26a) which were well cleaned and filled with milk, रत्न (ratna, Sanskrit transliteration, jewel) grains, flowers, and fragrant scents. He wrote the names of those young boys on the vases, adorned them with head ornaments, necklaces, various jewels, various lotuses, and wish-fulfilling jewels, and placed them on beautiful lotuses. After opening the mandala where all the teachings were gathered, Nüden Dorje performed the sadhana for seven days. He made offerings for seven days with divine flowers, incense, powders, various kinds of perfumes, and musical instruments like cymbals. The king, queen, and a thousand sons, along with their retinue, placed the vases in front of the two miraculously born sons. Then, Nüden Dorje bestowed the empowerment, granting the twenty-five common empowerments, the ten specific empowerments, and pouring down the four special empowerment waters. He drew out the names from the prophecy vase, and the first was the boy named Namdak (Completely Pure).
