Offerings are given to gods and demons. Because the mind is emptiness, no one can harm it. If you are still afraid, then the fear is created by yourself. By thoroughly dissecting the nature of the Khenpo (teacher), fear is naturally liberated. Fear transforms into the motivation for virtuous actions. The third point is: If you view gods and demons as gods and demons, the fault of this view will cause obstacles to life. If you recognize the clinging to gods and demons, then demons will appear as Dharma protectors, and obstacles will be transformed into accomplishments. Fourth, taking suffering as the path, the essential instructions of Bodhicitta (Enlightenment Mind). Fourth, taking suffering as the path, the essential instructions of Bodhicitta has three points. The first point is: do not view suffering as a fault. If you wander in samsara (cyclic existence), then suffering is inevitable. Think: This is because of the non-virtuous deeds practiced in previous lives, so now it is ripening. Now that sins are exhausted, you should be happy. Therefore, if suffering comes, you should be happy. The second point has two aspects: training the mind in conventional Bodhicitta and training the mind in ultimate Bodhicitta. The first is: whatever suffering occurs in the body, etc., there are many sentient beings tormented by such suffering. May the suffering of all those beings be gathered into this, and may all of them be happy. I will bear as much as all of them have to bear. The second is: when suffering, looking at the nature of the suffering. The key to the suffering is that it has never been established, so it must inevitably purify itself. There is no other happiness than the purification of suffering. Therefore, it is called taking suffering as happiness. The third point is: suffering ultimately turns into the Bodhicitta of exchanging self and others, becoming the supreme method of training the path. Fifth, taking sickness as the path, the essential instructions of balancing the elements. Fifth, taking sickness as the path, the essential instructions of balancing the elements has three points. The first point is: sickness is the whip of practice, adverse conditions are spiritual friends, and pain is the cleanser of obscurations. Therefore, if sickness occurs, cultivate joy. The second point is: when sickness occurs, imagine that the sickness of all sentient beings who are sick in the same way is gathered into this. May they all be happy. I will bear as much as all of them have to bear. Do not engage in rejection. This is the antidote of compassion. Then, dissecting the root of the sickness, the sick, and the one who is sick, there is nothing to point to, nothing is established. In this state, remain unwavering. This is... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is called 'the reversal meditation of emptiness'. When rising again, practice the reversal meditation of compassion as before, and alternately practice the reversal meditation of emptiness. Third, the cause of this disease is affliction, so take the remedy of transforming affliction into the path. The condition is conceptual thought, so transform conceptual thought, affliction, and spirits into the path, thereby eliminating the condition. The result is the suffering of disease, so practice the skills of both equal taste, thereby overcoming the disease. Togden Gon Yes (name of a master) said: 'From the thirteen deaths and interruptions, the yogi gains great confidence in knowledge. The adverse conditions of the benefactor are precious, they are better than a hundred favorable conditions.' Sixth, the instruction of recognizing mother and son by taking death as a path. The sixth, taking death as a path, the instruction of recognizing mother and son, has three parts. First, if you know death, you will not see it as a fault, but think that you will manifest the Dharmakaya through death. Second, there are two ways to take the subtle death and the coarse death as a path. The subtle death is the momentary arising and ceasing, the cessation of the previous moment is death, and the subsequent moment is birth. Therefore, if you recognize the arising conceptual thought at that time, you will recognize the clear light that does not appear at that moment. That is the recognition of mother and son. As Jetsun (name of a master) said: 'At the boundary between the previous and subsequent conceptual thoughts, wisdom constantly arises.' The coarse death is that at the end of the dissolution process of death, when the outer breath stops and the inner breath remains in the fourth moment, clear light appears. At that time, by recognizing the dissolution process, you can recognize the pure basic clear light. Through it, all habits are purified, and you become a Buddha to benefit beings. Third, because you recognize the clear light at the time of death, death is not the goal, but to attain the meaning of the immortal innate. Dividing it into six stages like this is the time of guidance. During the time of practice, mix the lama with your own mind and cultivate meditative absorption. At that time, the order from conceptual thought to death does not occur sequentially. But when you encounter something, you practice that skill. Therefore, this is called 'one practice session'. Like this, at Gyaltse (place name) Luvang Tsal (place name) Garden, at the request of Depa Migyur Rabten (person name), it was written by Bhikshu Pema Karpo (person name). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
