Thus! For sentient beings whose karma has ripened, directly exchange benefit and harm with compassion. Because the mind of entering [the path] is needed, sentient beings are upheld. Whatever self-serving thoughts arise, if you wish to attain Bodhi, then accomplish the welfare of others. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas act in this way. If the method of subduing becomes too harsh, quickly guide [them] gently. For sentient beings afflicted by illness and other sufferings, directly exchange happiness and suffering. Directly benefit them with the mind of entering [the path], and if you turn away from that, how can you benefit others? Since whatever is born will die, it is especially precious to take death as the path. Even if you yourself have not yet encountered death, rely on the three preparations in advance: rely on the Lama, empowerment, and blessings; stabilize experience and realization; and observe the signs such as dreams. Know the practice of transference and so forth. Connect the three bardos and take the three poisons as the path. Rely on the path of accumulating merit and purifying obscurations. Know the signs of the dissolution of the elements. When the breath ceases, the clear light of intrinsic awareness dawns. Mix it with the meaning of meditation and rest [in it]. The bardo of clear light, indivisible, ceases. If that very [practice] has not been done beforehand, then the past experiences and so forth will arise for seven weeks. By reversing attachment and aversion, meditate on the clear light. If you still have not grasped it there, then take hold of the family and birthplace. Through the power of aspiration and good karma, in that very state, another birth [will be taken]. Obtain the joy of manifest bliss in the pure realms. From the clear light of the Dharmakaya, free from conceptualization, the five-fold form body with marks is obtained. The Sambhogakaya, endowed with two purities, is obtained. The six Nirmanakayas [emanate] into the six realms, where existence never ceases. Even from the form of an ordinary person, immeasurable benefit for sentient beings arises. Therefore, in order to realize equanimity, protect the vows properly. Constantly meditate on emptiness and compassion. May the Guru Yoga be auspicious for all. Obtain empowerment and blessings, and offer the feast of the assembly wheel six times a day. Fully bestow [the teachings] upon those who are suitable vessels, and keep them secret from those who are not. This is the essence of the four tantras, like extracting the heart from within. This hidden method opens the eyes of wisdom and clarifies [the truth]. It is the hidden essence, the precious lamp for all. These profound instructions spoken from the tantras were perfectly obtained from glorious Naropa. For the benefit of all, bestow [them] upon one who is fortunate. I, too, have received a prophecy that one fortunate being will receive this [teaching]. May one with the wisdom to benefit beings, seeing with the eye of Dharma, obtain the essence of this key point. This is the root of equanimity, the six samadhis, the essence of the nectar of the heart. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Location: Earth. Spoken by Lama Tipu, invited to Tibet by Lama Rechungpa. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal meaning) The treasure mother texts were extracted as treasures by Rinpoche Gyarawa from the iron-pegged rock of Lhodrak Kharchu. The first of the three root texts of the Six Doctrines of Equal Taste, composed by Jetsun Tilopa, is called 'Tilopa's Secret Words'. The middle part was composed by Naropa, called 'Practice Dharma Song'. The root of the Path of Sickness, etc. These later ones were composed by Jetsun Tipu. Thus, the root of all six doctrines is fully present. Sarva Mangalam! (May all be auspicious!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
