Collection of Teachings by Omniscient Pema Karpo PK135: The Sadhana of Sahaja Hevajra The Sadhana of Sahaja Hevajra The Sadhana of Sahaja Hevajra The Sadhana of Self-Blessing of Sahaja Hevajra. Homage to Glorious Hevajra! Its nature is non-existent, non-existent, like the sky, equally tasteful, and difficult to realize. Neither one nor many, the source of abundant benefit for self and others. Non-dual, non-pleasure, Bhagavan Heruka, glorious Bhairava, blazing form. The King of Sages, whose compassion expands and flawlessly accomplishes the benefit of others without interruption. Here, the yogi who wishes to contemplate the self-blessing of Sahaja Hevajra, having received the empowerment well and possessing the vows, should sit in a comfortable posture with the discipline of meditation in a great charnel ground or a secluded and pleasant place. Taking refuge in the Lama and the Three Jewels, eliminating all the unbearable sufferings of the three realms of existence, and attaining perfect enlightenment for the sake of enjoying great bliss. For that purpose, I will contemplate the secret instruction of the self-blessing of glorious Hevajra. Generate the mind of enlightenment, wishing that all sentient beings may have happiness and the cause of happiness. May they be free from suffering and the cause of suffering. May they never be separated from the happiness that is free from suffering. May they abide for a long time in great equanimity, free from attachment, aversion, closeness, and distance, which are the causes of happiness and suffering. After contemplating the four immeasurables for a long time, recite: Oṃ svabhāva śuddhāḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho 'haṃ. By uttering this mantra in advance, there is no object to be grasped, and there is no mind that grasps it. Thus, all phenomena, from beginningless time, are naturally pure emptiness, which should be done momentarily in advance. After that, from the very nature of the completely pure realm of phenomena, in an instant, on top of the four-cornered King of Mountains, Mount Meru, made of four kinds of precious jewels, on various lotuses, in the center of the lotus heart and pistil, the Bhagavan Jetsun glorious Heruka, whose body color is like the bright red utpala flower, resides on the solar disc. With one face and three eyes, the two hands embracing Prajna, holding a vajra and a bell. The right outstretched hand makes the great threatening mudra, suppressing the signs of time. Gnashing his teeth, his face changing. With a crown of matted locks and --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The crown is adorned with precious jewels, the head bears various vajras and a crescent moon, possessing the headdress of Akshobhya (Tibetan: མི་བསྐྱོད་པ།, meaning: the Immovable One), bent in three places, with a joyful countenance, adorned with pennants of silk ribbons, and a garland of skulls on the head. Possessing the nine sentiments of dance, such as coquetry, she is the best of those who wear tiger skin garments. The body is adorned with a necklace of fresh human heads, possessing a garland of immaculate light, endowed with six mudras. In front of her is the Bhagavati (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མ།, meaning: the Victorious One) Shri Hevajra (Tibetan: རྣལ་འབྱོར་མ།, Sanskrit: yogini, meaning: yogini), with a red-colored body, youthful and beautiful, full of vigor, with one face and three eyes. The right hand threatens all the wicked with a vajra-bearing threatening gesture; the left hand embraces the consort, holding a skull cup filled with the blood of the four maras and others. The forehead is adorned with five skulls, the black hair is unbound. Wearing the garment of the sky, endowed with five mudras, with a garland of dry human heads, the right thigh embraces the Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས།, meaning: the Victorious One), and the left leg is extended. She is the essence of great bliss. Thus, the Bhagavan, adorned with the joy of being in equal union with her, possesses the great splendor of blazing like the fire of an aeon. In the lotus and sun disc at the heart resides the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable), whose essence is the blue Vajrasattva (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ།, meaning: Diamond Mind), radiating immeasurable rays of light, one should meditate on oneself as such a form. And like an illusion, one should clearly contemplate it for a long time. If one becomes weary of this, then one should recite the mantra surrounding the seed syllable: Oṃ Hrīḥ Ha Ha Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿཧ་ཧ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ྄, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ hrīḥ ha ha hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ). One should recite this many times. At that time, from the light of the seed syllable mantra in the mind, immeasurable bliss (Tibetan: བདེ་མཆོག, Sanskrit: cakrasaṃvara, meaning: Wheel of Supreme Bliss) emanates, performing the benefit of sentient beings, such as turning the wheel of Dharma. Again, one gathers it back into oneself and meditates. One should also contemplate the recitation of the Doli (Tibetan: དོ་ལི།) as described elsewhere, without contradiction. Then, one's own heart, one may either contemplate or recite. The syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable) located there, being the essence of all the Tathagatas (Tibetan: བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ།, meaning: Thus-Gone Ones), with its radiance, transforms all the realms of the world, both moving and unmoving, into the nature of light, which dissolves into the Bhagavati. She, being the essence of great compassion, dissolves into the Bhagavan. He, together with the seat, dissolves into the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable) at the sun disc in the heart. It (the Hūṃ) is the essence of Accomplishing Wisdom, dissolving into the syllable Ā (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, literal meaning: seed syllable). It is the essence of Amitabha (Tibetan: སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས།, meaning: Infinite Light), dissolving into the syllable Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, literal meaning: seed syllable). It is the nature of Ratnasambhava (Tibetan: རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན།, meaning: Jewel-born), dissolving into... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
