He obtained the sign of being embraced by (Padmasambhava), and in the experience of this fearless mantra holder, the appearances of luminosity and dreams were similar to direct perception. At the foot of a steep cliff, where many waterfalls flowed, as he was staying there, a white man came and said that the current attendant of the abbot, the young Rabjampa (high-level Buddhist degree), was formerly the reincarnation of Geshe (Buddhist PhD) Sonam Rinchen (person's name), who was among Rongton Chenpo's (person's name) disciples when he was teaching at Nalendra Monastery (monastery's name). The waterfalls flowing on the cliff face are a sign that many obstacles will arise in his youth. If he is not swayed by these obstacles, he will be of great benefit to the Dharma in the future. The white man disappeared like a rainbow. Similarly, later in my own dream, I also dreamed that on the eastern wall of Nangso Putrakhang (building's name), there was an old Thangka with the omniscient Rongton (person's name) as the main deity, surrounded by many lineage masters, which felt like Rongton's own handwriting. Someone introduced these images to me, pointing to the lama wearing a Pandita hat on the lower left side of the main deity, saying, 'This is the previous life of the current Khenpo (abbot) of the monastery, a disciple of Rongton.' As soon as he finished speaking, a gust of wind shook the door, and I woke up from my dream. Recalling the dream of the mantra holder earlier, I thought that he must have been embraced by Rongton Chenpo, which is truly amazing and a great fortune. Just as now, at the end of this degenerate age of five defilements, most of the other monastic colleges are only remnants of their names, while the regulations and learning traditions of our great monastery are as undiminished as before, and even more prosperous, as everyone can clearly see. This must be the result of the good prayers that our teachers and disciples have made together in many lifetimes. And that holy being who beautifies the Buddha's teachings has newly composed a biography about us, and when this collection of teachings was published in Uzer Ritang (place name) in the Wood Dragon year (Tibetan calendar), although we do not have such qualities, the excellent work created by the author's wisdom --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking at it from any angle, it is only captivating. In such a bad time, showing such an exemplary conduct is an unparalleled good deed, bringing joy, excitement, and rejoicing. Ngagwang Kunga Sonam, the Sakya mantra holder, offered these nineteen verses of praise to Khenchen Chokyi Rinpoche. They were handwritten by the talented Miwang Namgyal Dorje. May this action bring auspiciousness in the present and future! ཀ་ལྱ་ན་ཝརྡྷནྟུ། (Sanskrit Devanagari: कल्याण वर्धन्तु, Sanskrit Romanization: kalyāṇa vardhantu, Literal meaning: May auspiciousness increase). May auspiciousness increase! སརྦ་དཱ་ཨོཾ། (Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्वदा ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: sarvadā oṃ, Literal meaning: Always Om). All is auspicious!
