Originated from... Sherab Palwa (Wisdom Glory), known as Rabjampa (Great Scholar), and Tenpai Mepo (Father of the Doctrine) Sangye Pelwa (Buddha Increase), etc., all possess the auspiciousness of the name Rabjampa. Yakpa perfected the catalog of eighteen treatises, as well as the rituals of early rising, etc. It spread from the monastery to the Ngamring area. Even if holding the views of other sects, it is necessary to combine the two lineages of precepts. In the past, there were many called 'Ten Scriptures' in Sangbu. Later, such as Rongpo Ten Scriptures, and Ten Scriptures Darma Gelek Palwa, etc., are always boundless. Ten scriptures refer to the four great treatises plus other scattered treatises. Those who know about six treatises are called 'Ten Scriptures'. Those who only know the four great treatises are called 'Four Scriptures'. Among those who hold the 'Four Scriptures', there is Lobsang Drakpa (Tsongkhapa). Gedun Drub (1st Dalai Lama) was also called a holder of 'Four Scriptures'. He was called that way when he was young, and these are recorded in their own histories. Above the 'Four Scriptures', knowing a scattered treatise seems to be called 'Five Scriptures'. The representative of this is Paljor Sherabpa. He was one of the seven disciples of Remdawa, focusing wholeheartedly on practice. I think this person also became proficient in many treatises later, but the name learned in the early days was also used later. To be called 'Five Scriptures' just by mastering about the Five Treatises of Maitreya is purely today's jest and nonsense. The number of treatises is numerous, so it is named 'Great Number' by the wise. Other sects did not have eighteen treatises, but here, this saying is slightly circulated in colloquial language. The Sakya school believes that in the Ornament for Clear Realization, Valid Cognition, Discipline, Abhidharma, Madhyamaka, and the Three Vows, there are six great treatises. Nowadays, the teaching and practice of these six treatises are very popular. Other sects, apart from the four great treatises and scattered treatises, do not have the saying of 'Six Great Treatises'. The Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life and the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra show the aspect of view, so some people think they belong to Madhyamaka treatises. However, from the perspective of treatises and practice, practice is more important, so it is better to explain it as a treatise of the Ornament for Clear Realization. May this flower of verbal offering cloud, like a vast lotus garden, be forever offered to Sakya's Jamyang (Manjushri) in the sacred site of the achievers, Vajra Seat! This is offered to Sakya from Labrang Dzong. Sarwa Mangalam (All Auspiciousness)! According to the wishes of Khenchen Aphe Rinpoche, served by Guru. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
