It is indeed so. In India, you are known as 'Red Peak Yaksha' (Gnod sbyin rtse dmar), widely known throughout the region; and in the snowy land of Tibet, you are called 'Powerful Lhatsen' (Lha btsan). Thus he prayed. Padmasambhava said: 'Tell me your abode and life-essence.' The Yaksha King said again: 'My abode is in India, and also Sengphuk (Seng phug) in Tibet.' 'My father is called Muje Lekpa (Dmu rje legs pa), and my mother is the daughter of Tsenje Dawa Todkar (Btsan rje zla ba thod dkar), named Yaksha Sangdrenma (Gnod sbyin bzang 'gran ma).' 'My life-essence is the infallible word spoken by Hayagriva when he made his vows in the past. The small tantra collected by Dakini Vajra Padma (Mkha' 'gro rdo rje padma) is in a birch bark ga'u filled with mustard seeds, inside a rock crevice on top of this great rock mountain. Please enjoy it. I will be a protector of the Buddha's teachings.' Having prayed thus, Padmasambhava was very pleased, and after empowering him in the profound mandala, he bestowed the secret name 'Kun Khyab Dorje Drakpo Tsal' (Kun khyab rdo rje drag po rtsal). Taking the tantra from the treasure, he said: 'Yaksha, you will be the guru's protector.' Later, when Guru Padmasambhava went to Tibet, seven men riding horses as swift as lightning greeted him from Ngari Palthang (Mnga' ris dpal thang) to the Unchanging Spontaneously Accomplished Temple (Mi 'gyur lhun gyis grub pa'i gtsug lag khang) of Samye. They did a great deal of welcoming and escorting, and the master said with delight: 'The place where the Yaksha King Red Peak dwells must be in that sacred place.' Later, when the Protector of Beings Sonam Gyaltsen ('Gro mgon bsod nams rgyal mtshan), and especially the sun of the teachings, the mantra holder Je (Sngags 'chang rje), the Lord of Speech Kunga Rinchen (Ngag gi dbang po kun dga' rin chen), restored the Unchanging Spontaneously Accomplished Temple of Samye, and built new monastic colleges for the Sangha to gather, rekindling the flame of the teachings, It is widely known that the powerful Yaksha, with various magical displays, caused the Dharma and the Dharma holders to flourish and increase. Therefore, first Bhagavan Hayagriva, in the middle Guru Padmasambhava, and finally Khonton Sakya's Jetsun (Khon ston sa skya'i rje btsun), the successive masters, especially without transgressing the instructions of the mantra-holding guru, for the sake of the general Dharma, and especially for the precious teachings of the Sakya school to flourish and increase, the precious skull cup is as vast as the sky. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
