The pool with eight qualities is supremely excellent, with vehicle spokes of standard measure, and the light of various lotuses, manifesting light in all forms. On the fourth day, Indra (帝释天) and Bhama offered. From the four sides of the pool, eight great canals flowed, from which such wondrous sounds arose: 'Power, Bodhi, the Eightfold Noble Path' 'The Three Doors of Liberation and the Six Supernormal Powers, the Six Paramitas and the Immeasurable,' etc., manifested the sound of proclaiming the Dharma. On the fifth day, King Brahmadatta (梵施国王) offered. From the mandala of the Buddha's face, golden light radiated, illuminating the three thousand worlds. The beings touched by the light, free from the three poisons and the five obscurations, were filled with joy in body and mind, and adorned themselves with a collection of merits. On the sixth day, the Licchavi people offered. The Buddha and his retinue, with minds communicating with each other, understanding each other, the karmic results of their respective good and bad deeds manifested. Due to trust and faith in karma, they praised the Buddha's qualities and accumulated vast amounts of merit. On the seventh day, the Shakya people offered. The Buddha's retinue each became a Chakravartin king, possessing the seven treasures and a thousand sons, surrounded by minor kings and ministers. When all this manifested, wondrous and amazing joy arose, and they applied it to the meaning of the Dharma. The Six Heretical Teachers, with minds set on displaying miracles, were disheartened, their limbs stiffened, their mouths closed, and they lost the ability to display miracles. On the eighth day, the King of Gods was invited, with Brahma (梵天) and Indra (帝释天) on the left and right offering. The Buddha pressed the lion throne with his hand, emitting a great and majestic sound. With anger and extreme ferocity, an army of five Rakshasas manifested, destroying the thrones of the Six Heretical Teachers and threatening them. The Wrathful King Vajrapani (金刚手), drove them away with a vajra of burning flames. Some jumped into the water in shame, and one million and ninety thousand heretics sought refuge in the Buddha, requesting ordination. The Buddha compassionately said, 'Welcome,' and their hair and beards naturally fell off, and they became monks wearing robes. The Buddha taught them the Dharma, causing them to exhaust their defilements and be free from obstacles. On the ninth day, the King of Brahma offered. From the Buddha's radiant body, pervading the Brahma realm, he liberated beings with his voice. On the tenth day, the Four Great Kings offered. From the Buddha's radiant body, pervading the peak of existence, he taught the Dharma to beings with his voice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
