In the past, failing to realize one's own mind-essence, today, by all means, abandon this heap of aggregates. Clinging to self where there is no self is a mistake; being deceived by clinging to duality where there is no duality. In the past, the mind-essence was obscured by slumber; today, awareness vividly emerges nakedly. The lama is the one who introduces the phenomena, existence, gods, and demons; even if one were to part with breath at this very moment, One would never abandon the profound instructions; with such a thought, carry the commitment to the end.
