So be it. Then, practice appearances as essence. All phenomena that have been made are exhausted. Exhaustion, without outflows, leads to the place of exhaustion. Briefly express the symbol of the exhaustion of reality. First, through the direct perception of reality, the appearance of mental clinging subsides. Second, through the increase of experiential appearances, the wisdom of the bardo is manifested. Third, through the perfection of awareness, the Sambhogakaya is recognized. Fourth, through the exhaustion of reality, the result of Atiyoga, beyond effort, is attained. If these four are perfected in this way, Nirvana is not to be sought elsewhere. Samaya. Kya kya kya. Emaho, this profound heart essence, the pith instructions are condensed into few words with great meaning. I, Pema Tötreng, have composed this. In the degenerate age of the future, in the time of the harsh forty-year calamity, if those with practice encounter this, they will be liberated into a body of uncontaminated light, and may they create happiness for the teachings and beings. May the protectors safeguard the life force of this Dharma. Samaya. Kya kya kya. Treasure seal. Hidden seal. Profound seal. Crucial seal. Samaya. Kya kya kya. I, the beggar Ban Nyima Drakpa, have brought this forth from the profound Zabbu Lung of the great sacred place of Shangs. Mangalam!
