In the degenerate age of strife, the merit of all sentient beings decreases, non-virtuous actions cause spirits to flourish, the Eight Classes fight, causing poor harvests, and when insect pests occur, a person with bodhicitta, with the mantra, visualization, and samadhi of the yidam, and the local deities, landowners, and protectors, makes clean tormas, offerings, and arrangements, and proclaims the truth. Pour the mash into a new earthenware pot, dig a pit one cubit deep in the middle of the field, and the insect pests will be averted. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! In the degenerate age of strife, infectious diseases rage like the wind.
