Homage to Heruka! I, Padma Thötreng, will write the sequence of offering and accomplishing the Treasure Protector. May it meet with those who have karmic connections! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! In the future, if a person with vows wishes to accomplish the great Treasure Protector for the sake of the teachings and beings, go to the place of Tsen and Menmo. Arrange a mandala on a clean seat. Make an amulet from a deer's horn. The male Lhatsen is red in color. One face, two arms, three eyes. The right hand holds a spear banner, the left a phurba. He wears a white silk garment. His head is adorned with a white skull garland. Arrows, bows, and three wheels surround him beautifully. His face is full of smiling radiance. Turquoise eyebrows blaze with light. He rides a red horse like lightning. A turquoise-inlaid saddle of acacia wood, adorned with golden reins, golden stirrups, and wangma. The chest strap and girth are adorned with jewels. He is depicted in a realm of rainbow light. Generate the male Lhatsen as actually present. Together with various flags, attach an eagle feather to the arrow. Adorn it with tiger fur, leopard skin, and a mirror. Attach that to the neck of the arrow. Crystal, pearl, and five jewels. Attach that to the neck of the arrow. Hanging ornaments, medicine tablets, a palace, and tinglo, changphud, raksa, rakta. Arrange various flowers as offering substances. Especially, on a tsen offering the length of a cubit, place meat and blood as ornaments in the center. Having bathed, sit on a comfortable seat. Send forth fragrant incense and juniper smoke. Emanation of the mind of Maha Deva. Emanation of the speech of Uma Deva. In each country and continent, there is a palace. Yakina, the Tsen land of the snowy mountains. A precious palace stands tall. Various banners flutter. The conch-shell gate stands wide open. Golden stairs gleam. A turquoise foundation is solid. Leaping horses neigh. Copper horns blare. Many tall bamboos sway. Various weapons gleam. Silk banners flutter. In that wondrous sacred place resides the mighty Jowo deity. He rides a red warhorse. His face is fair and ruddy, beautiful. Turquoise eyebrows, conch-shell teeth. A smiling radiance shines. He wears a white helmet. White vulture feathers flutter. He wears a white silk robe. In his hand, he holds a silk spear. He is adorned with a bow, arrows, and three wheels. His belt is made of precious gold. The beautiful, intelligent stallion is adorned with a jeweled saddle. With a roaring sound, he comes to this place. He comes with all his retinue. He calls out to his trusted friends. He comes to uphold his vows. He speaks sweet words clearly. He smiles and shows his radiance. If you are a friend, do not break your oath. Make a vow, do not break the oath. Do not disobey the command of the wisdom-holder Padmasambhava. Do not disappoint the vow-bound yogis. Please remember the entrusted task. Clearly show all phenomena. Thus urged, drums beat, and music plays. At that time, signs of accomplishment appear. A horseman carrying a red banner arrives. With fearless confidence, he makes a vow. Samaya (藏文，དམ་ཚིག，梵文天城体，समय，梵文罗马拟音，samaya，oath)! Gya Gya Gya (藏文，རྒྱ，梵文天城体，，梵文罗马拟音，gya，accomplished)! As the oath of this Dharma protector, do not eat the meat of horses and donkeys. Avoid the shadow of a widowed woman. Samaya (藏文，དམ་ཚིག，梵文天城体，समय，梵文罗马拟音，samaya，oath)! Gya Gya Gya (藏文，རྒྱ，梵文天城体，，梵文罗马拟音，gya，accomplished)! From then on, whenever the time comes, set up offerings, invoke with music. Offer torma and engage in activities. Thus, this Dharma-protecting deity is close to the heart, easy to practice, and easy to attain siddhis. He is a great hero with pure vows, bringing immediate and ultimate happiness.
