is the time to subdue enemies. Eighth, when the Torma is known as an army, it is the time to avert curses. Ninth, when the Torma is known as self-arisen, it is outer, inner, and secret. Third, revealing faults has two aspects: the fault of the cause and the fault of the condition. First, the fault of the cause has three aspects: Whatever of the four actions is undertaken, if the grain of the Torma is not good, then the result of the matter will not be accomplished; if the Tsampa of the Torma is defiled, in the next life one will take the body of a dog; if the water is not clean, one will be born as a hungry ghost with outer obscurations. Second, revealing the fault of the condition: Divided into twenty-seven points: If the Tsampa of the Torma and the Torma itself are possessed by ghosts, in the next life one will be born as a beast of burden that must carry loads; if saliva and snot are present, one will be born in the hell called "Impure Mud"; if the essence is cut off, one will be born as a hungry ghost with inner obscurations; if the leftovers are reduced, one will take the body of a pig; if divided by flour dust, one will be born in the Dark Continent; if the decorations are few, one will be born poor; if grains, pebbles, beans, etc., are lost, one will be born with tumors and goiters; if hairs are lost, eye diseases will arise; if the Tsampa is thin, merit will decline; if cracked, famine and plague will arise; if the foundation is not stable, migrations will occur in the country; if the tip of the food is sharp, it will harm life; if the tips of other Tormas are round, practice will be delayed and activities will decline; if the Torma is crooked, it is inauspicious; if tilted, accomplishments will not be obtained; if bent, fortune will decline; if not quickly blessed, it will be eaten by obstacles; if arranged without decorations, the deity will not be accomplished; if smeared with red, bad diseases will erupt; if the Torma container is not clean, obscurations of knowledge will be accumulated; if the container of the wealth-attracting Torma is washed, wealth will not gather; if the container of the regular offering Torma is not washed, the guests will not be satisfied; if the obstacle Torma is placed too close, it will harm the retinue; if the wrathful Torma is not thrown as a weapon, it will harm oneself; if the practice Torma is shaken, warmth signs will not arise; if the Torma of the four activities is seen by someone without vows, the heroes and Dakinis will flee far away; if water, medicine, and alcohol are not mixed in the Torma, the essence of the food will be interrupted. Ho! If the peak is prominent, one will be victorious in all directions. If the craftsmanship is excellent, whatever task is undertaken will be accomplished. If one is diligent in making tormas, even without requesting activities, the guardian deities will perform the work. All obstacles will be pacified. All prosperity will greatly increase. The retinue will be large, auspiciousness will be achieved, and the purpose will be fulfilled. One will be protected from the fears of epidemics, bad harvests, and other calamities. In short, if one is diligent in adopting and abandoning according to this torma manual, all harmful influences according to the scriptures will be pacified, and all siddhis will be attained. Therefore, future fortunate ones should be diligent in making tormas. Samaya! Rgya Rgya Rgya! This torma manual, which eliminates all faults, was written for the sake of future generations, thinking it necessary. It was hidden as a precious treasure, reluctant to spread it.
