Wind practice bliss-emptiness without outflows. Wind practice bliss-emptiness without outflows. From the Kagyu Dzogchen Three Roots Secret Heart Drop, the Wind Practice Bliss-Emptiness Without Outflows resides. In the true secret language: Maya Chandanama. (Tibetan: མ་ཡ་ཙནྜ་ན་མ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मायाचण्डनाम, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: māyā caṇḍa nāma, literal Chinese meaning: Illusion Wrathful Name). In Tibetan: Called Wind Practice Bliss-Emptiness Without Outflows. Homage to the Three Roots. Of the Three Roots Secret Heart Drop, those who are fortunate to practice the Dharma, especially the Dakini Tsogyal, practice this instruction as it is, and attain supreme accomplishment in this life. Those who do not follow conceptual thoughts, and increase diligence, may they meet with the fortunate ones. Also, in solitary places, such as cliffs and snow mountains, in places free from worldly distractions and harm, build a solitary retreat. Practice the common preliminaries according to the instructions. Then, the uncommon preliminaries: on a comfortable seat, sit in the lotus posture, with hands in the meditation mudra or placed on the knees. The neck is slightly bent, and the eyes gaze at the space about four fingers in front of the tip of the nose. The spine is straight and unmoving, and the tongue touches the upper palate. Cutting off speech, in a state of non-distraction, for the sake of quickly placing all sentient beings, as vast as space, in the state of Buddhahood, I will generate the special effort of body, speech, and mind, and practice this profound instruction. Generate this thought many times. Then, in an instant, visualize above your crown, the root guru residing in the form of Heruka, surrounded by the Dzogchen lineage gurus, yidams, dakinis, and protectors, actually residing before you. Taming the wind-mind, liberating from contaminated aggregates into a light body, pray from the heart to attain supreme accomplishment in an instant. Finally, receive the four empowerments with samadhi, the guru dissolves into light and merges with oneself, abide for a moment in non-fabrication. These are all the stages of the preliminaries. Gya Gya Gya. Second, the main practice stage: in the state of all dharmas being unobtainable, primordially pure emptiness, from the realm of the single bindu where the clarity of awareness is unceasing, oneself as glorious Vajrasattva, the body color white, possessing pure radiance, adorned with the ornaments of the complete enjoyment body, appearing but without inherent existence.

Unaccomplished one! The spontaneously accomplished body of light, clear and distinct. Empty and clear, without grasping, utterly transparent. Clear and without bias, swirling and expanding, hold the mind for a moment. From that state, exhale all nine impure breaths, such as foul air. Then, within the precious citta, at the juncture where the sun and moon boxes meet, the essence of self-aware wisdom, the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, deep blue and radiant, shines brightly. The Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable of the sun and moon's light is clear. Hold the mind on the clarity of the sun and moon illuminated by the rays of the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable. Inhale from the upper nostrils and restrain the lower breath. Keep the mind focused and unwavering on the union of breaths. When unable to hold the breath, from the central channel, at the crown of the head, visualize the clear form of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri in union, and on the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable at their heart, contemplate the breath and awareness dissolving into it without separation. Hold the breath as long as possible. When unable to hold it any longer, descend from the heart of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri. That wisdom breath-awareness, from the crown of your head, through the central channel. Contemplate it dissolving into the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable at the heart. Hold the breath at the point of union. The light from the union of the sun and moon boxes of the precious citta strikes the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable. From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, five-colored rays emanate. All four chakras within the body are filled with five-colored light, shimmering and pulsating. Hold the mind on this. Then, with a small inhalation, gently press the breath into the point of union. When unable to hold it, direct the breath-awareness, as before, to Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri at the crown of the head. When unable to hold it any longer, return again, as before. Visualize the channels and chakras within the body, even the pores of the hair, filled with rainbows, light, and five-colored bindus. Focus and hold the mind on this. Fill the breath at the point of union, and in accordance with the Vajra wave ornament, fill it with a small inhalation. When unable to hold it, exhale as before. Again, return as before, filling with a forceful union of breaths. The object of focus is the union of the sun and moon boxes of the citta, together with the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, from which light emanates. The flesh, blood, bones, and so forth of the body dissolve into light, into rainbows, light, and five-colored bindus. Hold the mind on the nature of light, shimmering and sparkling, and fill it with a small inhalation. When unable to hold it, release it as before. Thus, the breath-holding with a small inhalation, a total of one hundred and eight times.
