Collection of Teachings by Master Naropa A Clear Explanation of the Condensed Five Stages A Clear Explanation of the Condensed Five Stages In Sanskrit: Pañcakrama-saṁgraha-prabhāva. In Tibetan: རིམ་པ་ལྔ་བསྡུས་པ་གསལ་བ། (rim pa lnga bsdus pa gsal ba, Pañcakrama-saṁgraha-prabhāva, A Clear Explanation of the Condensed Five Stages). Homage to the Lotus Feet of the Glorious Lama! The profound secret of all Buddhas, abides in the Five Stages. The nature of reality, the path, and the fruit, are the stages of arising. The nature of reality is twofold: the way of abiding of mind and body. Gross, subtle, and extremely subtle, the common and distinct stages should be known. Sleep, dreams, samadhi, ordinary times, and the four aspects. With the nature of the four chakras, know the channels, bindus, and mind. The key points of body, time, place, and wind, should be known as four. Various recollections and realizations, arise from the mind. Therefore, consciousness is the basis of life. Visualize the mantra wheel in the heart, know the stages of base, path, and fruit. By realizing the illusion of body solitude, mantra, and mind, the stages of union will be known. The letter wheel of the mantra, initially an eight-petaled lotus. Meditate with the inner and outer secret methods, in a complete and orderly manner. The outer layer is the vowel of wisdom, preventing obstacles with skillful means. Non-duality abides within +ma+ma, entering samadhi in sequential directions. The nature of the three unions, in the center is the indestructible bindu. Combined with A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A), which is life. It is the essence of all, expanding and contracting. The winds of the four elements, closely combined with wind and mantra. Practice Vajra recitation. Arising, abiding, and dissolving, are what is explained here. The habits of ordinary thoughts, visualize the mantra in the mind. With the purification of the body, thoughts are purified; with the purification of the wind, it becomes immaculate. With the purification of the wind, the illusory body of the complete stage is manifested. By realizing that, the wisdom of union is attained. Actions are the collection of activities and deeds, accomplished by the union of consciousness and wisdom. The objects that appear sequentially as signs, are the harmonious experiences of the five wisdoms. In a state of clear and blazing light, obtain direct knowledge from the branch winds. The collection of thoughts gradually decreases, and the opposing wisdom gradually increases. The stages of wisdom are found from within oneself, without clinging to one or many. The initial experience is like a mirage, with five rays of light appearing. The second is like the moon, the third like the sun. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
