The complete activity of Subjugating Yama, Black Manjushri, Vajra Kilaya, releasing from the profound seal, revealing without concealment, is called the Great Vajra Fire. Itiརྒྱཿཿ Homage to glorious Yamantaka. Here, for the yogi who practices the heroic Manjushri, wishing to avert curses, phurba attacks, evil spells, bad omens, obstacles, decline, great harm, and fear, and especially wishing to swiftly kill enemies, demons, and evil-doers who harm oneself, one should perform this extremely profound instruction that is easy to do and quick in effect as follows: At the time when the year and month are exhausted, on the dark days such as the twenty-ninth, at the time when the sun and other planets are dark, when the planets, stars, directions, and times are violent, when the shadow falls on the ground, construct a homa furnace of poisonous wood. Create a large image of the target to be destroyed. Surround it with fifty or twenty-one small effigies. Write the life syllable on the effigies according to the ritual. Arrange the limbs and write syllables such as "dza". In the heart, write the syllable "tri" for obstacles, and write the name and family of the enemy with the syllable "nri". Finally, write the curse and the activity mantra. Mix three kinds of strong poison: human blood, horse blood, and dog blood. Cow blood, lead, and black mica. Corpse ashes, Sophora subprostrata, and Rheum tanguticum, these nine, and the filth of the target. Smear them on the effigies. At the same time, arrange equal amounts of red torma. Decorate with flesh and blood. Place a fierce zor in front. Arrange offerings such as the five senses. Drink the self-protection visualization, mantra, and blessed substances of Dharma medicine. Take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and accumulate merit as preliminaries. Purify into emptiness with (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, Literal Chinese Meaning: self-nature). From emptiness, from (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूं, Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: seed syllable) transforms into a palace. A fierce palace, complete with all qualities, blazes. The outer layer is surrounded by a vajra fire tent. Its expanse is equal to the sphere of Dharma. In the center of that is a wheel made of vajra kilaya. In the very center of the four sharp spokes, on a lotus, sun, and corpse seat, one's own mind, a skull club marked with (Tibetan: ཡཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: य, Sanskrit Romanization: yaḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: seed syllable). Light radiates, offering to the noble ones, purifying the obscurations of beings. Subduing all demons, evil influences, and obstacles. Gathering and dissolving, completely transforming into Manjushri, Lord of Death.

Slayer! A face like a gathering of black clouds of destruction. Three eyes blazing like the fire at the end of time. Mouth open, teeth gnashing, palate sounds roaring like thunder. A terrifying tongue swirling like a thousand lightning bolts. Tawny yellow hair raised into the expanse of the sky. Eyebrows and beard radiating red-yellow firelight. One face, two arms, glory blazing intensely. The right hand holds aloft a skull-staff that proclaims laughter. The left hand holds a skull filled with blood. Two feet displayed in a posture of stretching and contracting. Magnificent and complete with charnel ground ornaments, terrifying with nine dances. Disgusting, a demon swaggering in wrathful manner. The fire of primordial wisdom blazing everywhere. In the four directions, the four families of Yama, blue, yellow, red, green, and black, with vajra clubs and so forth, holding skull-cups filled with blood, their attire matching the main deity. In the three places of all are the three vajra syllables, and from the dark blue YA (藏文:ཡཿ,梵文天城体:य,梵文罗马拟音:ya,汉语字面意思:亚) at the heart of the main deity, light radiates, and all the Thus-Gone Ones of the directions and times, in the form of Manjushri Yamantaka, are invoked, becoming inseparable from the commitment and wisdom beings. At the heart, the mantra garland circles to the right around YA (藏文:ཡཿ,梵文天城体:य,梵文罗马拟音:ya,汉语字面意思:亚). Rays of the four families strike the heart of Yama. All of appearance and existence, glorious Yamantaka, all roar with the natural sound of the vajra mantra. Oṃ(藏文,梵文天城体:ओँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) Śrī Mañjuśrī Yamāntaka Hūṃ Phaṭ! Without distraction, focus the mind and recite. In between, do not mix in other words. Then, on the linga and torma, attract and absorb the three obscurations of enemies and obstructors. With the fire of butchers and other cruel beings, fan the flames in the direction you want. In your left hand, hold a black rosary or whatever Raksha is available. Consider the enemy or obstructor to be the essence. Recite each mantra syllable, changing the direction. As soon as each torma and linga is arranged, offer it and burn it in the center of the fire. Do not leave the vessel empty, it is a samaya. If there are offerings and servants, offer and seat them there. Oneself, Yamantaka, blazing dark blue, one face, two arms, with weapon-like hair. Mouth open, teeth gnashing, three fierce eyes glaring. Complete with charnel ground ornaments, a body of wisdom vajra. The right hand, with an iron hook, hooks all harm-doers without obstruction, separating them from protective deities. The thumb of the left hand brandishes a golden axe, between the finger and the silver dagger, may the head and body of the object of focus be severed with a Hrug.
