The ultimate of the Great Perfection Ati Profound Meaning Essence, the instruction of Goodness Tögal. Orgyen Tertön Lingpa. The ultimate of the Great Perfection Ati Profound Meaning Essence, the instruction of Goodness Tögal. Orgyen Tertön Lingpa. Homage to the primordial protector, Kuntuzangpo, the unchanging light. Since those fortunate and superior beings desire to quickly attain Buddhahood, when practicing the profound and unsurpassed yoga, the Dharma of those with karmic connections, the direct Great Perfection Tögal's instructions, one should first gain confidence in the preliminary stages and Trekchö, and then practice this instruction. In this, it is superior to the previous one by seven distinctions: the distinction of the appearance of the vessel, the distinction of practice being integrated into practical application, the distinction of the self-essence being directly revealed, the distinction of the body-essence channels, the distinction of seeing faculties, the distinction of self-awareness objects, and the distinction of the increase of experience. These seven make it superior to others. When practicing the actual instruction that possesses these distinctions, there are two types of preliminaries, common and uncommon. Since the common has already been discussed, one should abandon the nine activities of the uncommon. As it says in "After Death": "Abandon all external and internal activities." And as it says in "Space Clarity": "In order to bring the direct essence into the heart, the external, internal, and secret activities, the nine activities of body, speech, and mind should be abandoned." Therefore, the body abandons external worldly activities, internal activities that are in accordance with the Dharma, and secretly staying alone without friends. The speech abandons external evil speech, internal Dharma practice recitation, and secret wind exercises, i.e., speech restraint. The mind abandons external evil thoughts, internal Dharma practice word thoughts, and secretly abandons all coarse and subtle distractions of thoughts. Second, to bring the uncontaminated wisdom directly into one's own mind, there are three key points. As it says in "Violent Transformation": "The direct essence is body, speech, and mind, each of their essences should be well controlled, among them, the three kayas of the body should not be allowed to pass away constantly." And as it says in "Space Clarity": "Even if awareness has settled on the object, if it is not controlled by the illusion wheels, wisdom cannot appear as power." Therefore, first, the Dharma body posture is like a lion: on the cushion, the soles of the two feet are slightly joined, the knees are spread outwards, and the hands are placed on the ground near the feet in vajra fists.

Settle the body and straighten the arms. The torso should be upright like a lion, the neck slightly raised. The eyes should gaze unblinkingly at the sky in front of the brow. The tip of the tongue should be curled up slightly. By doing this, the elements within the body will be balanced temporarily, and ultimately the meaning of reality will be realized. The second is the Sambhogakaya posture, like an elephant lying down: Sit face down on a cushion, with knees and chest together, elbows planted on the ground, palms supporting the throat, fingers touching the cheeks, head slightly raised, back straight, and eyes looking askance at the sky. This will temporarily control the moving winds, and ultimately there is a need for the meaning of the spontaneously accomplished five lights to arise. The third is the Nirmanakaya posture, sitting like a sage: Sit squatting on a cushion with legs crossed, hands encircling the knees, spine straight, shoulders raised, and eyes half-closed, gazing into space. This will temporarily generate warmth in the body, and ultimately there is a need for the illusory realms to appear. In the Thalgyur it says: The Dharmakaya posture is like a lion, freeing oneself from all fear of illusion, and one will see with the vajra eye. The Sambhogakaya posture is, relying on an elephant lying down, the nature of reality

That which is called "Continuation" is as fine as a knot in a horse's tail; like a string of pearls; like a wire mesh; like a flower net staying in its place; all of these appear as two-fold, three-fold, and so on. Therefore, one's own awareness is called the Vajra Garland, the single Bindu. It is crucial to hold such awareness, the Vajra Garland, in captivity. As it is said in the Thorough Cut: "One's own awareness is like a garland, free from going and coming, in the sky." Furthermore, the nature of the garland is that all discriminations are pure, the Buddha without error. Also, in the Absence of Letters: "In that, the essence arises like a garland, subtle, flowing, and moving." And in the Self-Arisen Awareness: "The light body endowed with five wisdoms is exceedingly clear in the Vajra Garland. It also radiates, comes, moves, and flickers." And in the Perfection of the Lion's Strength: "This object of self-arisen awareness dwells in the wisdom Vajra Garland." Thus, it is said. In this way, by the posture of the three bodies, one subdues the ground of the three Buddha bodies. Having mastered the three fundamental postures well, one should then learn the seven branch postures: Tiger Pounce, Garuda, Man, Fox, Vulture, Giant, and six, and Crocodile Posture, the seven key points of the body. The first of these, the Garuda posture, is: bring the soles of the feet together, straighten the body upright, lower the hands into Vajra fists on the thighs, bend the neck slightly, look at the space between the eyebrows, and practice. The second, the Tiger Pounce posture, is: the feet as before, lower the Vajra fists secretly, pull the back of the neck, bend the throat, roll the eyes between the eyebrows, look straight ahead, and practice. The third, the Man: squat the body, clasp the hands around the knees, lift the neck slightly upward, look intently at the sky, and say "Bhe." The fourth, the Fox posture, is: the feet like a straight person, lower the hands into fists holding the thumbs on either side of the feet, pull and stretch the arms upward, straighten the spine, close the eyes slightly, lead them to the corners of the left and right, and practice. The fifth, the Vulture: the feet in the Vajra posture, slightly extended forward, the hands
