With the hook of faith, my mind is involuntarily seized. Even we insignificant beings live happily in the shade of your compassion. Afterwards, I implore you to never abandon us with the compassion that allows the unimpeded manifestation of the play of non-dual wisdom, and to always remember us! This letter is respectfully offered on an auspicious day, adorned with auspicious patterns on a beautiful silk cloth. Furthermore, to the highly virtuous spiritual friend: To the feet of the supreme and venerable spiritual friend, the lord of excellent wisdom, I respectfully submit: Recently, your health has been excellent, like the moon that has completely overcome Rahu's face. Your three activities of learning, contemplation, and meditation elevate the precious Buddha's teachings higher and higher, becoming the life force of benefit and happiness, which is a source of great gratitude. Moreover, recently, your esteemed body, emerging from the churning of the ocean of outstanding virtuous deeds, like the sun radiating rays of benefit and happiness, causes the lotus flowers of goodness for all beings to bloom, adorns the precious teachings, and fully displays the stamen of pure white activities. Your noble virtues are flourishing, and your kindness is immense. Furthermore, today, the thousand eyes of wisdom, accomplished through extraordinary and rare offerings, shine brightly. With the vajra of a hundred peaks of scripture and reasoning, you defeat the armies of heretical speakers and asuras, making the Buddha's teachings the beautiful ornament in the court of the three realms, which has become the medicine for the mind. Furthermore, to the unequaled and unique lord of speech: Recently, in the garden of accumulated merit from the past, the sapling of discernment, nurtured by the diligent application of rare water and fertilizer, is adorned with countless flowers of scripture and reasoning, and the fruits of liberation arising from meditation have fully ripened. You reside as the lifeline of the teachings and beings, and your kindness is immense. Furthermore, to a leader who holds both secular and spiritual authority, such as: To the feet of the supreme and glorious lord of the earth, who has a pure vision of all disciplines, I respectfully submit: Recently, your esteemed body, born in the garden of excellent merit, is like a wish-fulfilling tree, its trunk not damaged by frost, swaying gracefully, and blossoming with flowers of noble qualities.

With wisdom clear and liberation attained, the fruits of virtuous deeds are fully ripened. The shade of benefit and bliss pervades all directions, you are the sole protector who alleviates the suffering of all beings, your kindness is supreme. Again, I pray that your compassionate eyes never abandon us, and that we may always receive your teachings like a chariot of the fortunate. This is a petition offered, adorned with pure white offerings. Or: To the feet of the supreme Sakya ruler, possessor of the Dharma eye. I report: Now, your body mandala is like a moon-jewel mirror, the wisdom of the two systems shines forth, radiant like a deer king, and thousands of white rays spread throughout the sky, causing your subjects, like a garden of lotuses, to bloom from within with a hundred petals of benefit and bliss. You possess this supreme glory, your kindness is immense. For an ordinary person like myself, before you, who possess the eye of dual wisdom. Now, in the garden nourished by virtuous deeds, your matured form is like a lotus, unblemished by the twisting vines of evil, graceful in form, with the radiance of heroism and wisdom blooming, emitting the fragrance of sacred virtues, displaying the splendor of the stamen. This is like nectar flowing into the ears, and joy increases like the waxing moon. Again, I pray that your close care and teachings may descend like a continuous rain. Or: Not long ago, your health was freed from the clouds of illness, clear as the autumn sky, and your pure white deeds shine like the sun. The mandala of merit is drawn near by seven horses, and you exist as an ornament illuminating the world, your kindness is immense.
