Sangye Phyog ruled over most of the lands under the sun and in the west, and restored all the dilapidated temples of the past. He established eighty-four Dharma seats at glorious Nalanda, of which the king himself established seventy-one, and the rest were established by the queen and ministers. The Sangha received offerings at the top of the king's palace, while food was given to the heretics outside the gate. After that, in the southern land of Kṛṣṇarāja, a teacher named Māleka-budhi appeared. He established about twenty Dharma seats and promoted the Mahayana. Eventually, he was killed by the Turkish army, and the blood that flowed turned into milk. Many flowers emerged from his body, filling the sky. One of them performed a life offering, and the other entered a long hole in the ground and practiced the sun for twelve years, achieving accomplishment. He merely scattered the ashes of the fire offering while reciting mantras, causing the fire to ignite spontaneously.

The three named Tna Sa Ga Ra, Ratna Da Dhi, and Ratna Randa Ka were burned. At that time, in the nine-story temple called Ratna Da Dhi, a great stream of water flowed from the volumes where the Mahayana sutras were kept, extinguishing the fire, and many volumes were left unburned, said to be related to the Guhyasamaja and other tantric cycles. Those two heretics, fearing the king's punishment, attempted to flee, but their bodies spontaneously combusted and they died. Thereafter, many monks from various regions gathered and transcribed everything that was in their minds and in the volumes. The king, along with the Brahmin Shangku, the Brahmin Purbu, and many faithful householders, restored the temples that had been burned. Of the Mahayana scriptures that had previously come to the human realm, two of the fifteen parts were destroyed by the two former enemies of the sacred Dharma. About one part was destroyed regardless of the harm from enemies. The remaining nine parts were destroyed by fire. Now only about one part remains. Of that, out of a thousand collections of the Konchok Tsekpa (Ratnakuta Sutra), only forty-nine remain. Out of a thousand chapters of the Phalchen (Avatamsaka Sutra), only thirty-eight remain. Out of a thousand sections of the Du Pa Chenpo (Mahasamnipata Sutra), only nine sections remain. This is exemplified by the Lankavatara Sutra and a few chapters of the Tathagatagarbha Sutra. Then, the Brahmin Shangku was the son of the Brahmin Sato. Having accomplished the vidya-mantra of the Great Ishvara, he attempted to subdue the nagas of the land, but he was unsuccessful and was harmed by the nagas and died. His wife carried his corpse away and proclaimed, "Who can revive him?" Once, a woman appeared and recited a mantra over water, and when she washed his body with it, he was revived. Then, he went to seek the secret instruction for subduing nagas, and he met a woman of the dakini lineage and asked her. She said, "You are not a vessel for vidya-mantra, and it is difficult to find the samaya substance." She did not grant it, but he persistently requested. She said, "Then, you must find eight handfuls of milk soup boiled from the milk of a pure black female dog, and then I will give you the vidya-mantra." After he found it, he requested the vidya-mantra, and she recited the mantra and made him drink it. Six handfuls filled his stomach, and he could not drink any more. Then, the dakini said, "If you do not drink this, you will be killed by a snake." He drank another handful, leaving one handful, but no matter how he tried, he could not drink it.
