All of this is influenced by the way things appear, and is the object of measurement, counting, and calculation. On the level of ultimate truth, the self-manifestation of wisdom is unchanging, without parts, all-pervasive. It is completely beyond measurement and counting. Just as it has not moved from the unchanging dharmadhatu, all changing and various appearances arise from the combination of time, and time refers to the principle of dependent origination. Because, in the state of the gathering of causes and conditions, it is called that time, and apart from that, there is no other time. From the combination of dependent origination and time, good and bad results do not deceive. If one can understand and correctly take and abandon, one can accomplish all the goals of higher realms and definite goodness. The time that appears in this way is not due to the power of external objects, but due to the time of internal change. Like a dream influenced by sleep, it exists simultaneously with the three appearances.
