Zangpo! Kunga Jampal, holder of the treasury of instructions, and the root lama who embodies all lineages, I pray to you, grant the accomplishment of longevity. Through the power of my prayer to you in this way, may I completely triumph over the enemy of untimely death, may all wishes be fulfilled perfectly as desired, and may I be blessed to attain supreme accomplishment. This prayer to the near lineage lama of the Seven-Day Longevity Practice was composed by the monk Losal of Tsangto (Upper Tsang) at the place of the fifth balcony facing the Dharma King of Nyukri Khangzang, a place where flowers bloom, and the scribe was Gonpo Ozer. Later, it was composed by Khyenrab Jampa Ngawang Lhundrup from Tsarchen to Ngagi Wangchuk. The subsequent supplements were prayers composed by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, who received the kindness of this profound instruction from the four Yongdzin Dampa. Excellent!
