Ra Ga A Sy

Just as there is no good or bad, there is nothing better in abiding, comfort, and clarity. Even if distraction and dullness arise, there is no need to cling to them. Originally, the nature of mind is the naked Dharmakaya. Recognize it, do not be distracted, and it is enough to guard it with mindfulness. Whatever arises, look at it, self-liberation, and so on. It is okay at first, but it is not necessary to continue. It is enough to guard it with unwavering mindfulness alone. This is the real basis of non-distracted meditation. This life is as impermanent as a butter lamp in the wind. Although there is power and wealth, there is no right to take it away. Although there are many friendly companions and retinues, there is no right to lead them away. Therefore, cut off attachment and clinging to the mind. For food, wealth, enjoyment, service, and so on, even if very good things appear, abandon clinging. Dedicate and pray for the benefactor to attain enlightenment. If it happens naturally, there is no need to hate it intentionally. Do whatever good you can, and offer your own body as a mandala. Even if you have it, do not engage in asceticism by not eating, and do not quarrel with everyone saying that there is no face. Even if you temporarily agree with the opinions of worldly people, in reality, the happiness of gods and humans in samsara, I think, is unsatisfying, of little benefit, and of great harm. Fearing the ocean of suffering of samsara, in order to go to the Pure Land of Great Bliss without turning back, do whatever you can to find various methods. In this way, attachment to the six realms of samsara can be reversed. Abandoning attachment itself is the root of meditation. Praying for human body and happiness in the next life, how can that be considered abandoning attachment? When the head of devotion, the body of non-distraction, and the feet of meditation of abandoning attachment are complete, the head and feet of meditation are complete, and wishes can be fulfilled. If one of the three is missing, it cannot be achieved. No increase is a sign that the three are incomplete. The essential points of the meaning of Mahamudra of the Kagyu tradition are all contained in this prayer. The son of the Sixth Karmapa, who holds the Black Hat, Jampel Sangpo, stayed in retreat for eighteen years in a cave on the mountainside of Nyenchen Tanglha. Therefore, this prayer is extremely blessed. It is also a common prayer of the Kagyu lineage. If the object is clear and this prayer is recited, there is no doubt that experience and realization will increase. Among them, it is crucial to generate strong devotion. Ra Ga A Sy said these words during a group practice with the intention of benefiting all the monks.
