Its essence is emptiness, like the sky. The Dharmakaya, like the sky, abides equally. This is called Mahamudra. Its own essence cannot be pointed out. Therefore, the very nature of mind is the nature of Mahamudra. Within the state of Mahamudra itself, there is nothing to be fabricated or changed. Whoever sees and realizes this, all of appearance and existence is Mahamudra. In the Dharmakaya Mahamudra, rest naturally, without fabrication. The Dharmakaya is beyond thought. To rest without searching is meditation. To search and meditate is a confused mind. Like the sky and illusion, without the duality of meditating and not meditating, where is separation or non-separation? Thus, the yogi who realizes this, all actions of virtue and vice, are liberated by knowing this. Afflictions are great wisdom, like fire to a forest, aiding the yogi. Where is going or staying? What is the point of going to a solitary place to meditate? If you do not realize this, how will you be liberated? It is only temporary liberation, unable to truly liberate. If you realize this, what can bind you? Resting without distraction in its natural state, there is no need to fabricate or meditate with body and speech. Saying \"resting\" or \"not resting,\" nothing is established in this. Appearances self-liberate into the Dharmadhatu. Realization self-liberates into great wisdom. Non-duality and equality are the Dharmakaya, flowing like the current of a great river. However you abide, it is meaningful. This is always Buddha. Samsara is without a place, it is great bliss. All phenomena are empty in their own essence. The mind that grasps at emptiness ceases in its own place. Devoid of mind, without anything to do in the mind, this is the path of all Buddhas. For those of great fortune, I have condensed the heart's words into verses. May all beings, through this, abide in Mahamudra! The concise words of oral instructions are complete. Homage to all the noble Lamas!" , "english_translation": "Wishing to introduce the wisdom of non-conceptual Mahamudra right now, first, in a secluded place away from crowds, on a comfortable cushion, take the posture called \"posture of faith and understanding\": kneel with knees on the ground, bring the palms together, and sit.

Sew it up. Through its blessing, when the body warms up a little, keep the body upright and visualize as the deity. Without moving the eyes, concentrate the gaze on the sky directly in front of the tip of the nose, and stare like a pillar. As the great Brahmin said, "Eyes not closed, mind not distracted, when the breath stops, the glorious guru knows." In this way, the movement of speech and breath will also naturally cease, but some effort should also be made to control it. As he said, "When fire and wind and the great powerful one stop, at the time when nectar flows, the breath enters the heart." In this way, the movement of various thoughts will also naturally cease, but do not pay attention to thoughts of good and bad, high and low, hope and fear, but abide comfortably, relaxed, and naturally, like grasping the main point, or resting when tired, or meeting a like-minded friend. As he said, "This mind bound by ropes, once loosened, there is no doubt that it will be liberated." If, no matter what is done, the mind cannot be made to abide, and like bubbles bursting from water, various thoughts arise continuously, first trace the source of the thought, but do not find where it comes from; finally trace its destination, and do not find where it goes; in the middle, its own nature, shape, and color cannot be determined, and understand that it is empty in terms of arising, ceasing, and abiding. Whatever thought arises, without any mistaken discrimination, it is liberated in the realm of Dharma, unable to cause any harm, just like a bubble disappearing in water, or a southern cloud dissolving in the sky. As he said, "The mind is like an image appearing in a mirror, it arises from conditions, do not cling to it as real." And also, "The breath of thought is the various illusions of the mind, I have not seen an owner dwelling within it." Therefore, do not deviate from the meaning pointed out and agreed upon by the guru, and strive to practice. In short, the correct practice of Mahamudra is not to make emptiness the sole object of thought, but on the basis of the inseparability of base appearance and emptiness, the awareness of the path is without clinging to emptiness, the result is not deliberately fabricated, and there is no defilement of thought.
