Then, he earnestly requested again and again. Snyag-sgom said, "You and I are as close as brothers, so I will bestow it upon you. Don't say 'please' regarding this. I will bestow it whenever and wherever you wish, and the lineage will not be cut off." At that time, when Venerable Nyima Lungpa went to Dagpo Dorje to request the instructions on the Four Teachings, Dorje said, "Guru Marpa has many special instructions, but it seems he intends to bestow them only on Jo-sras Dode, so he has not given them all. Soon after his son passed away, he himself also passed away, so it seems that some instructions have been interrupted." It is said that Tsurton Wang-nge of Dol received a teaching called "Four Paper Rolls," which was not given to others. It is said that Mes-ston Tshon-chung-ba of Zhung received a teaching called "Three Mixtures." When asked what kind of teachings these were, he said, "The Four Paper Rolls contain the Powa Spyi-rtol (transference of consciousness), the Chakra of Channels and Winds, Bardo Liberation, and a Concise Explanation of Mahamudra." The Three Mixtures refer to mixing alcohol with meditation, mixing sleep with meditation, and mixing bindu with meditation. Later, when Jetsun knew about it, he said that he should go and request the teachings. Dorje said, "I don't know." Then he smiled. Jetsun knew that he knew, so he requested more earnestly. Dorje kindly gave the Four Paper Rolls and asked who he had requested the teachings from, saying that the lineage was secret and could not be revealed. Later, after investigation, it was learned that he had requested the teachings from Snyag-sgom. Dagpo Dorje said, "My instructions are so profound in this world under the sun that one cannot obtain them without offering at least a hundred offerings." At that time, because he had no material possessions to offer, he offered a ten-story stupa to request the teachings. Venerable Nyima Lungpa went to Tod-lung Garre to request the instructions on the Powa Spyi-rtol (transference of consciousness). He needed an offering of gold, items for a feast, and an offering of wisdom. But he had none of these conditions, only a strong desire for the Dharma. So, he had a kind attendant lead him, offered all his clothes and his body, and requested the teachings, which were granted. Later, Garre said, "It is not right for you, a monk, to be without robes," and returned the lower garment and belt to him.

After Deshek Rinchen inquired, when he was being entertained on the way to Ga Tra hot springs, a conversation of four paper scrolls arose, and great faith arose. He immediately arranged a tsok khor, took off a good set of clothes worth one tael of gold, and offered it happily. He did not give the empowerment of transference of consciousness, universal liberation, nor did he say that the other three would exist until I die. Then he spoke of your own wishes and union. To this I asked: The Dharma friends who requested, named monk practitioners, etc., after hearing the fame of this Dharma, offered three times the offering of request, led by one of their own good silk clothes. Because of the three strong requests, it was finally given. I also met at that time, and gave the oral instructions, etc., only to me alone. This is the history of the two small Dharma texts and oral instructions, etc. Now Ru Shi thought, regarding the transference of consciousness, universal liberation, and the Great Seal concise, there is one Indian root each made by Naropa Maitri himself. Thinking, how come the other two don't have them? Just as he was thinking this, the wheel of the network of channels and winds and the decisive severance of the bardo, these two Indian roots, came from Lama Sumpa Repa, and the mother and child paper scrolls were perfected. It seems that he did not have the previous oral instructions either. The copy of the root paper scroll, the personal disciple of Jetsun Milarepa, Tsangrong, gave it to Nyag Gom, and immediately understood all the oral instructions well. For the root that was slightly not understood, a man named Drubthop Ure came to the wanderer and sang a doha, and after hearing it, his feeling changed. He immediately cut the paper scroll from his neck and offered it. Later, it seems that he gave it from his heart at Dakpo Dotre. Ure's copy of the paper scroll was not shown to anyone else, but was passed on to his son. To this, Lama Sumra cared for and treated him for six months, saving his life. In order to repay the kindness, he gave the key to the paper scroll, saying: Please copy one for me from the essential manuscript, and please come. He did so, and gave the copy to himself. The manuscript with the personal touch of Jetsun Milarepa is with me.
