The Sixth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. Sahajasiddhi by Ḍombī Heruka. The Sixth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. Sahajasiddhi by Ḍombī Heruka. Herein dwells the Sahajasiddhi by Ḍombī Heruka. Namo Guru Ḍombī Heruka! Thus, Ḍombī Heruka said: In the scripture, "Whatever is born as Sahaja, that is called Sahaja. The innate mind itself, the basis of nature, is known as Sahaja wisdom. All aspects are summarized into one." Based on this, Ḍombīpa explains Sahajasiddhi. The instruction for practicing its meaning is as follows: the cause is Sahaja, the means is Sahaja, and the result is Sahaja. Thus, the path is completely perfected by the three aspects of Sahaja. Moreover, the meaning is explained as follows: For the individual who desires to manifest the result, Vajradhara, there are two ways to practice the path: the path with conceptualization through asceticism and the path without conceptualization like a child. Both of these require three types of non-wastage. Non-wastage of enjoyment, non-wastage of body, and non-wastage of mind. Among these, the first is: If there are material enjoyments, they should not be wasted by fire, water, enemies, or demons. First, offer them to the guru, then offer them to the Three Jewels and the Ḍākinīs. If there are no material possessions, then offer them mentally to both paths in common. This is non-wastage of enjoyment. Non-wastage of the body is to possess the three vows: the Prātimokṣa, the Bodhisattva, and the Vidyādhara vows. Each of these has an outer and an inner vow. Among these, the outer Prātimokṣa vow is: the five things to be protected by a Upāsaka, the thirteen things to be properly taken by a Śrāmaṇera, and the two hundred and fifty-three rules of the fully ordained Bhikṣu. The inner one is the essence of the bindu remaining uncorrupted in the body. Among the outer and inner Bodhisattva vows, the outer ones are the four defeats and the thirty-six transgressions, and so on. The inner one is to constantly encourage those who are suffering with great compassion, to benefit sentient beings with compassion, to have clear and unceasing awareness, and to use the body as appropriate. The Vidyādhara's vows have outer

Among the two inner aspects, the outer refers to guarding the fourteen root downfalls commonly proclaimed in all tantras, as well as the eight branch downfalls, totaling twenty-two. The inner aspect is the innate awareness abiding in non-conceptuality. Thus, the three outer vows transform into the path of asceticism, while the three inner vows transform into the non-conceptual path of a child. The body is not consumed. The mind not being consumed refers to the two bodhicittas. Among these, the outer is the conventional aspiration and action, the ultimate is free from elaboration. The inner is the conventional Kunda, the ultimate is bliss and emptiness. This also means the outer is the path of asceticism, the inner is the path of a child. The mind is not consumed. The body-speech illusory wheel with three aspects should be practiced as before. Then, the three consciousnesses obtain the names Padma and Barbi. Thus, there are eight. This is due to the power of co-emergence. The third is that, again, through the power of the two methods of upward elimination and downward guidance, simultaneously with the former, the most excellent non-conceptual innate awareness arises. This is samadhi. Since there is no conceptualization on any object, it is great ignorance, and the affliction of delusion is transformed into the path. Diseases are gradually liberated from phlegm. Demonic nagas cannot harm. The body's Kunda nadi is brought under control. The speech gains mastery over the abiding of prana. The mind has no equal or subsequent in non-conceptuality, there is no falling asleep or not falling asleep, and there is no distinguishing between falling asleep and waking up. It obtains the name emptiness, the gate of liberation. Thus, there are eight. This is also due to the power of co-emergence. Thus, the twenty-two branches generate co-emergent experiences. Now, from the co-emergent result, signs first arise, liberation from both grasping and the grasped. If the three experiences arise from the continuum, the special characteristic of the body benefiting others is that when seeing those suffering from disease and demonic affliction, merely applying it with the body will pacify them, and so on. Applying excrement, feces, and urine to the body will pacify suffering and so on. The sign of the special characteristic of speech benefiting others is that by saying "May the disease be cured," diseases and so on, and the pacification of epidemics and so on, the excellence of speech will be accomplished. The first sign of the mind is that dreams become clear.
