The Fourth Place: Establishing All Dharmas as Solely Rooted in the Wisdom of Awareness. The Fourth Place: Establishing All Dharmas as Solely Rooted in the Wisdom of Awareness. Thereafter, the nature of oneness is shown: Awareness alone is the basis of all dharmas. Although appearing as many, it does not move from one. Thus, self-arisen wisdom is shown as one root. Just as a single jewel, due to fire and water, appears different due to separate conditions, yet the root is one, like pure beryl. Although samsara and nirvana arise from one's own awareness, the root is one, the ultimate bodhichitta. Awareness and non-awareness are merely differences of illusion. All that appears, samsara and nirvana, appears in the face of awareness. From the time of appearance, its essence and emptiness are one. Like dreams, illusions, and reflections of the moon in water, the awareness of the four appearances is like insubstantial space. Primordially empty, completely empty, and free from elaboration, it is one. Since all is one realm, primordially pure, there is no duality; it merges into one bindu. The dharmakaya without edges or corners, Emaho! Although appearing as the five elements, in the state of bodhichitta, unborn and equal, it does not move from one. Although appearing as existence, the six realms are the form of emptiness; it does not move from the state of base appearance awareness. Although happiness and suffering appear, in the essence of bodhichitta, it does not move from self-arisen wisdom, the one. Therefore, all dharmas, in the state of one realm, emptiness, should be known as unborn bodhichitta. In this vast expanse of self-awareness, the single intent of the buddhas of the three times resides. Not fixated on multiplicity, free from parts and elaboration, it is the unmoving palace of bodhichitta. Nothing other than self-arisen wisdom resides there. The wish-fulfilling jewel, the precious treasury of dharma, is the spontaneously accomplished realm of the buddhas of the three kayas. The vast, single expanse, unmade by anyone, from this all dharmas emanate. Cause and effect are reversed, so the root source is one. That itself is empty and clear, the vast expanse of dharmata. Clear like the pure sky, without partiality. Although the self-arisen one makes all of samsara and nirvana, the root awareness is unmade by anyone. Like the sky, it abides beyond effort. In accordance with the example and meaning, in the state of one realm, vast expanse, the many exaggerations and slanders are pacified. Beyond existence and non-existence, in the essence of meaning, the dharmakaya is unobstructed, whatever play spontaneously arises is one's own nature.

The expanse beyond thought and expression, Transcends all sounds, words, and terms. The essence from which all arises is Bodhi, In which there is no duality, beyond enumeration and words. Buddhas, sentient beings, phenomena, existence, vessels, and contents are clear, Just as they are, they do not stir from the single Dharmata. All dharmas are complete in their connection to the one, This is the great quality of the Bodhi mind. From the moment anything appears, cut off the attachment of difference, In the self-radiance of emptiness, the non-dual mind itself. Outer dharmas are to be known, Inner dharmas are naked awareness. In the Dharmata without one or many, Realizing the single sphere unravels the key point of awareness. All dharmas are bound into one taste, All appearances of objects are false appearances in emptiness. However they appear, leave them as the unmade one. Whatever appears, in that very moment, emptiness and clarity arise as one. Mental appearances and conceptual gatherings dissolve into emptiness, Whatever arises and moves, leave it naturally and freely. From the movement of arising, the Dharmata is clearly realized. In the natural time when object and mind are without separation and equal, Leave it self-liberated, without trace, and without aim. The radiance of being, beyond meaning, is clear insight and wisdom. By binding the three key points into one essence, Realization and non-realization are equal from the beginning, Object and mind are non-dual, equal in the Dharmakaya, Confusion and purification are non-dual, equal in understanding. Without interruption, the meaning's own ground is seized. Without letting go or holding, the essence of certainty is found. Without going or coming, the Dharmata abides in understanding. On the ground of immutability, one is completely stable. How vast and great is the mind of the Victorious Ones, equal to space! Without abandonment or attainment, it is the expanse of a single bindu. Liberated in its own place, there is no realization or non-realization. Having reached exhaustion, it is beyond mind, vast and boundless. On the summit of the banner of non-decay, The sun and moon of clear emptiness have risen. All dharmas are bound by a single self-awareness, The limitless four extremes, the dharmas of appearance and existence, All of Samsara and Nirvana arise, yet they arise from the sphere. Therefore, the sphere of the first arising binds. Now, in the very time of various appearances, Since it does not move from the state of awareness, The appearance, self-arisen, is bound by the expanse of awareness. Even if arising and liberation disappear without distinction into the sphere, Since it does not change from the Bodhi mind, The exhaustion, the original Dharmata, is bound by the one. Therefore, all dharmas are one awareness.
