《Collected Teachings of Ngawang Lodro Drakpa JNLD374 - The Essential Heart of Dependent Arising: A Readable and Beneficial Practice for the Doctrine and Beings》 《The Essential Heart of Dependent Arising: A Readable and Beneficial Practice for the Doctrine and Beings》 《The Essential Heart of Dependent Arising: A Readable and Beneficial Practice for the Doctrine and Beings》 Here, to write down the essential heart of dependent arising for timely reading, first, to all the Bhagavan Buddhas (Sanskrit transliteration, meaning: the Blessed One) who reside in the boundless pure lands of the ten directions, possessing all knowledge, all vision, and the ten powers, I sincerely take refuge from the depths of my heart. I beseech you to bestow the auspiciousness of dependent arising in every way upon all beings of the degenerate age. Please listen to my prayer. (Recite three times) To the nectar of utmost peace, most supreme, which uproots all unbearable suffering from its source, to the clear light wisdom, the great peace, and all categories of abandonment and realization, including the expressive words, I take refuge from the depths of my heart. I beseech you to grant the corresponding benefit and happiness, and the most supreme dependent arising. (Recite three times) To the most supreme field of merit that completely purifies obscurations, the Sangha assembly of noble beings who have transcended the ordinary state and directly see the truth as it is, I take refuge with joy from the depths of my heart. I beseech you to bestow perfect dependent arising and open the door to auspiciousness for those tormented by the degenerate age. (Recite three times) For the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, including the gods, the Teacher, with his supreme wisdom, proclaimed that all phenomena of appearance and existence are interdependent, arising dependently, empty of inherent existence, like illusions. Abiding in this truth of reality, recite the great Dharani mantra king, the essential heart that inspires auspicious dependent arising in every way, like an uninterrupted stream. Recite the essence of dependent arising once or as many times as you wish. Abide as much as possible in the meaning of dependent arising. The Entrance to the Path In this degenerate age of emerging new civilizations, focusing on the auspicious interdependence for the Dharma to truly benefit all beings, repeat. By the power of reciting the heart essence of the mantra that empowers the true manifestation of interdependence, may all beings tormented by the unbearable suffering of the hot and cold hells immediately attain temporary peace and happiness, focusing on the auspicious interdependence of joy, happiness, and auspiciousness, repeat. Add 'By the power of reciting the heart essence of the auspicious and well-manifested interdependence' to the beginning of all the following. May all beings tormented by the hunger and thirst of the pretas (hungry ghosts) immediately obtain food, clothing, and desired enjoyments, freely enjoying them, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May all beings tormented by the ignorance of animals immediately obtain the clear eye of wisdom to discern the truth as it is, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May all the gods of the heavenly realms, facing the pain of death and falling, immediately obtain the fortune to widely enjoy peace and happiness, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May all beings in the heavenly and human realms, suffering from the involuntary pain of birth, old age, sickness, and death, immediately obtain the peace and happiness of freedom, with body and mind at ease, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May all the asuras (demigods), deprived of the opportunity for happiness due to fighting, immediately reconcile with each other, with love and care arising, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. Especially in this human realm, those who suffer greatly due to strong negative karma, those stubborn and difficult to tame who have gone astray, may their thoughts and actions completely turn to the true Dharma, and may the auspicious and wonderful Dharma manifest at the right time, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May all the inferior beings born in the degenerate age, who do not deeply believe in the Three Jewels, immediately develop firm faith in the Three Jewels, and with devotion, regard the Three Jewels as the true refuge for this life and the next, giving rise to a new mind towards the Dharma, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May those who have never had a longing for liberation immediately change from the depths of their hearts, giving rise to a genuine renunciation, focusing on this interdependence, repeat. May all those who are bound by selfishness immediately rely on pure altruism, and may true bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment) arise in their hearts, focusing on this interdependence, repeat.
