Here, a miraculous display of illusion! The treasury of the profound secrets of the Kagyu lineage, Karma! The supreme jewel that grants blessings and fulfills all needs and desires! Vajra Holder Guru! Precious Lama, inseparable from all Buddhas! Kind and compassionate to all disciples! Outstanding refuge, the excellent guide for beings! Unparalleled glory of compassion! May the radiant light of your three secrets! Be fully transferred into the hearts of myself and all disciples! Opening the gateway to the wisdom of the profound secrets! May the realization of the innate Mahamudra swiftly manifest! Pray as you wish. If you are inclined to recite the name mantra, visualize: The glorious Lama is the embodiment of Heruka! The form of the heroic father and mother, inseparable in method and wisdom! From whom the essence of blessings and nectar arises! Entering the crown of my head, fulfilling all actions! All impairments and breakages of body, speech, and mind! Emerge from the body in the form of impure stains! Becoming as pure as a flawless crystal! Attaining the accomplishment of pure Brahma! Recite as much as possible. I beseech the all-pervading Lama, the Lord of Great Bliss Wisdom! To consider me with great compassion! All the sins and downfalls I have accumulated since beginningless time! I sincerely regret and vow to abstain from them henceforth! Recite in this state: From the beginning, the expanse of Samantabhadra's Dharmakaya! The spontaneously accomplished, luminous Mahamudra! The supreme mind of the Lama, free from elaboration and unimpeded! Rest in the uncorrected, naturally arising state! After reciting the name mantra, receive the four empowerments: The deity who is the essence of the four kayas, the union of bliss and emptiness! Skilled in manifesting and dissolving limitless mandalas! The great power of wisdom's illusion, the lord of all families! I pray with reverence, bestow great blessings! In an instant, the Lama father and mother! From their bodies, a stream of nectar flows! Filling my body, receiving the vase empowerment! The blessing of the indestructible vajra body enters! Great bliss increases more than before! The blood of wisdom permeates, the wisdom empowerment enters the continuum! The blessing of the non-elaborate mind enters the heart! The glorious lord, the collective glory of all families! The very nature of the great secret of Mahamudra! Through the empowerment, may I realize the meaning and true nature of the Mudra. Third, the subsequent stage of absorption: Then, in an instant, gather all the assemblies of the field of merit, and all the manifestations of transformation, into the all-pervading father and mother of the lineage. Furthermore, in a state of inseparability and equal taste with oneself, dedicate and aspire: Through this pure virtuous action, may all sentient beings, including myself, soon enter the great secret vehicle, and enjoy the supreme feast of the two stages. May the three bodies (Tibetan: སྐུ་གསུམ་དང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्रिकाय, Sanskrit Romanization: trikāya, Literal meaning: three bodies) of birth, death, and bardo, and the characteristics of purification, completion, and maturation of the perfect yoga, become the means to purify impure ordinary appearances and attachments, and may the supreme yoga of the generation stage reach its culmination. May the skillful means of the yoga of channels, winds, and bindus, and the power of binding the winds and bindus in the central channel, quickly manifest the Great Seal of Clear Light, the union of bliss and emptiness, and may the completion stage reach its culmination. Finally, may the supreme state of the Great Seal of Union be attained, the spontaneously accomplished three bodies (Tibetan: སྐུ་གསུམ་ལྷུན་གྱི་གྲུབ་པ་ཆོས་སྐུའི་དབྱིངས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्रिकायसहजसिद्धिधर्मकाय, Sanskrit Romanization: trikāyasahajasiddhidharmakāya, Literal meaning: three bodies spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya), and may the complete nature be manifested as it is in the realm of the Dharmakaya, and may the realms of beings be cared for with effortless action. This is the 'Guru Sadhana: Opening the Door to the Profound Secret,' written by the yoga master, secret mantra Vajradhara Karma Norbu.
