Narta! Lord of great power, the venerable Sakyapa! May you swiftly appear on the throne that eradicates the darkness of ignorance, the self-luminous, expanding power of the sun! Narta! Lord of supreme qualities, the venerable Sakyapa! May you swiftly appear on the throne of the pure white moon, which fulfills all good deeds with cool nectar, relieving the suffering of beings! Narta! Lord of vast activities, the venerable Sakyapa! May you swiftly appear on the indestructible vajra throne, unconquered by countless faults, victorious in all directions! May your reign of samsara and nirvana be eternal and blazing! This is a long-life prayer for Jamyang Ameshap, composed by the eleventh Khenpo Jampa Samten Gyatso of Thubten Lhakhang Chenmo, slightly modified and with one verse added at the beginning. To wish that the Sangha of this incarnate monastery, as well as the successive wise and accomplished ones of the Sakya lineage, will benefit samsara and nirvana until the end of samsara, Sakyapa Ngawang Kunga Lodro, together with his retinue, received the generous offerings from Lama Sangye Wangchuk and Jampa Phuntsok of Ali Chöje, who propagated the teachings of Sutra and Tantra according to their own tradition, and recited the collection of praises of Lama Sangye Jangsem, the great empowerment dharani, and the aspirations of the sons of the Buddhas. With this auspicious prayer composed by Sakyapa Kunlo, may all wishes be fulfilled as desired! Preceded by auspicious words. Om Parama Sadhi Kuru! In the palace manifested from immortal wealth, on this precious Dharma throne of immortal wealth, may Jamyang of immortal wealth descend, may immortal wealth eternally benefit the Dharma and beings! Here, in this age of strife, the subduer, our teacher, the unparalleled Shakya King, manifested enlightenment in the Jambudvipa of the sound world, causing the precious teachings of cause and effect to flourish and spread, and quickly guided most of the difficult-to-tame beings. His kindness surpasses all Buddhas. This lineage, in the land of snow, was initiated and propagated by the incarnations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as well as successive kings, ministers, wise men, and accomplished ones. From the early to the later propagation periods, they all propagated the teachings.
