Separate Use of Self-Generation from the Manifest Mandala of the Five Rakshas, compiled by Yabje (honorific, meaning 'Holy Father') Kunga Lodro (name, meaning 'All-Pervading Intelligence'). Om Svasti! I and all sentient beings as vast as the sky, from this time until we reach the heart of enlightenment, take refuge in the glorious and precious root and lineage Lamas, who are the embodiment of all the Kayas, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Tathagatas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times; the source of the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma; the master of all noble Sangha; and the possessor of the four Kayas and five wisdoms. I take refuge in the Buddha! I take refuge in the Dharma! I take refuge in the Sangha! I take refuge in the Lama, and so on, twenty-one times. In the Lama, Buddha, Dharma, and the most excellent of assemblies, until I attain enlightenment, I take refuge. By the merit of my meditation and recitation, may I quickly attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings! Three times. I vow. With body, speech, and a thoroughly pure mind, I confess the various sins I have committed, and I take refuge in them. To those Buddhas who possess great miraculous powers, and to whichever deity I am most devoted, may that deity be pleased and my mind be filled with joy. With a devoted heart, I beseech you to protect me. Recite: Om Vajra Muh (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་མུཿ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra muḥ，汉语字面意思：Om, Vajra, Muh). May the mandala of the assembly ground dissolve into its natural state. May all sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness. May they be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. May they never be separated from the bliss that is without suffering. May they be free from all causes of happiness and suffering, such as attachment, hatred, closeness, and distance, and may their minds be equanimous in a state without attachment or hatred.
