Awang Kunga Lodro's Teachings NKL329 ཇག་ཆིངས་ར་རུ་མའི་གསལ་བྱེད་བཞུགས་སོ།། 7-418 ༄༅། །ཇག་ཆིངས་ར་རུ་མའི་གསལ་བྱེད་བཞུགས་སོ།། ༄༅། །ཇག་ཆིངས་ར་རུ་མའི་གསལ་བྱེད་བཞུགས་སོ།། Homage to Guru Arya Tara! Here, the Kadampa Geshe, Jamangpo Lupa Tsondru Drak, received directly from Jetsun Tara the history of 'Jag Chings Ra Ru Ma,' which is explained in detail in the main text. Here, we extract the practice method: In front of oneself, place a fierce vessel such as an iron pot, and inside it, place a linga (effigy). In another vessel, prepare mustard seeds, white mustard seeds, black and white pebbles, coarse cloth or black cloth, wool thread, ra ru la, etc. Recite the Three Refuges (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) three times, the Four Immeasurables, and the स्वाभाव (svābhāva) mantra. Meditate on oneself and the contents of the vessel as emptiness. From emptiness, from the syllable ' पཾ ' arise various lotuses, with eight petals. On the center and petals of the lotus, from the syllable ' अ ' arise moon discs. In the center, one instantly transforms into Tara of the Seng Den forest, and in the eight directions are Jetsun Taras who protect from the fears of lions, elephants, fire, thieves, snakes, prisons, water, and non-human spirits. All the Taras are green in color, with one face and two arms, the right hand in the gesture of granting boons, the left hand holding the stem of an utpala flower at the heart, with the flower blooming near the ear. The right leg is extended, and the left leg is bent. Adorned with a topknot of hair and a pair of breasts, decorated with silk and jewels, with the syllable ' 嗡 (Tibetan: ཨོཾ,Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ,Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ,Literal meaning: Om) ' on the forehead, the syllable ' 啊 (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ,Sanskrit Devanagari: आः,Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ,Literal meaning: Ah) ' on the throat, and the syllable ' 吽 (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum) ' at the heart. From these syllables, rays of light emanate, and Tara of the Seng Den forest is surrounded by Taras who protect from the eight fears. Recite 'Om Vajra Sama Ja Ja Hum Bam Hoh (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ,Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र समा जः जः हूँ वं होः,Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra samā jaḥ jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ,Literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Samadhi, Ja, Ja, Hum, Bam, Hoh) ', merging into non-duality. Recite the offering mantra: Om Argham, Padyam, Pushpe, Dhupe, Aloke, Gandhe, Naivedye, Shabda Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨརྒྷཾ། པཱ་དྱཾ། པུཥྤེ། དྷུ་པེ། ཨ་ཱལོ་ཀེ། གནྡྷེ། ནཻ་ཝི་དྱེ། ཤཔྟ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།,Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ अर्घं पाद्यं पुष्पे धूपे आलोके गन्धे नैविद्ये शब्द आः हूँ,Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ arghaṃ pādyaṃ puṣpe dhūpe āloke gandhe naivedye śabda āḥ hūṃ,Literal meaning: Om, water for drinking, water for washing feet, flowers, incense, light, perfume, food, sound, Ah, Hum) . From the eight great fears, you protect all beings in the world. You are the mother of all beings. I prostrate to Mother Tara! Recite the Tara mantra: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སྭཱཧཱ།,Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा,Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā,Literal meaning: Om, Tare, Tuttare, Ture, Svaha) . Recite one hundred or twenty-one times, or as much as possible. Finally, recite: Ka Sha Ka Sha, Drak Tal Drak Tal, Nying Chod Nying Chod, Ya Ya, Tse Tse Nan Nan, Rbad Rbad, Khala Raksha Rbad, Nyingla Raksha Rbad, Rula Raksha Rbad, Tsala Raksha Rbad, Khrakla Raksha Rbad, Zugpungla Raksha Rbad, Drenrigla Raksha Rbad, Bind the enemy's body, speech, and mind, Stambhaya Nannan. Enemy, thief, robber, Maraya. Make them stiff, quick, and faint. After reciting as much as possible, make the Hum gesture, recite the true words of commitment, and at the end of the common aspiration, by the blessing of the great truth, may harm be caused to such and such a place and such and such a camp... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
