NKL225 Teachings of Ngawang Kunga Lodro: Gaṇapati Torma Offering - The Wish-Fulfilling Vase Gaṇapati Torma Offering - The Wish-Fulfilling Vase Gaṇapati Torma Offering - The Wish-Fulfilling Vase. Homage to the feet of the venerable Lama! Here, one who has received empowerment and possesses samaya, desiring to offer a torma to the glorious Gaṇapati, and one who has received the oral instructions, should prepare whatever flesh, blood, and various foods are available, and arrange a torma in the shape of a precious jewel, adorned with a red silk pennant. Perform the meditation and recitation of one's self-arisen deity or any chosen deity, in whatever elaborate or concise manner is appropriate. Consecrate the torma with inner offering, water, and alcohol. After offering the torma to the deity and the great and small Dharma protectors, consecrate this torma with Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Ha Ho Hrīḥ (ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧ་ཧོ་ཧྲཱིཿ，oṃ āḥ hūṃ ha ho hrīḥ，om ah hum ha ho hrih，嗡啊吽哈霍啥) three times. In front, visualize within a mountain of lapis lazuli, on the center of an eight-petaled red lotus, above a treasure-bestowing blue mouse vomiting various jewels, a red Gaḥ syllable transforming into the glorious Gaṇapati, with a red-colored body and an elephant's face. His sharp and white tusks are prominently displayed, and he possesses three eyes. His black hair is tied in a topknot at the crown of his head, marked with a wish-fulfilling jewel, and a fluttering red silk pennant. In his twelve hands, the six right hands hold enemy arrows, great arrows, an iron hook, a vajra, a sword, and a javelin. The six left hands hold a pestle, a bow, a khaṭvāṅga, a skull cup filled with blood, a skull cup filled with flesh, and a shield with a banner attached to a spear. The vajra and skull cup with blood in the fourth hands on the right and left are held at his heart, while the remaining hands are held in a gesture of brandishing. He wears various silk lower garments and is adorned with various precious ornaments. With his left leg extended, he resides in the center of intensely swirling red rays of light in a half-lotus posture. At his forehead is Oṃ (ཨོཾ，oṃ，om，嗡), at his throat is Āḥ (ཨཱཿ，āḥ，ah，啊), and at his heart is Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ，hūṃ，hum，吽). From the red Gaḥ syllable at the center of his heart, light radiates, inviting the glorious Gaṇapati from the realm of the Thirty-Three Gods. After reciting Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ (ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ，jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ，jah hum bam hoh，扎 吽 班 霍), imagine that he becomes non-dual with the visualized deity in front. 然后献上，以‘ས་མ་ཡ་ཧོཿ’（Samaya Hoḥ）立誓。再次从心间发出光芒，迎请五部灌顶本尊及其眷属，念诵‘ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཛཿ’（Om Vajra Sama Jaḥ）。 祈请‘ཨོཾ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཏུ་མཾ། སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་’（Om Abhiṣiñcatu Maṃ Sarva Tathāgata），念诵‘ཨོཾ་བཛྲི་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ།’（Om Vajrī Bhāva Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ），并用宝瓶之水从头顶灌顶，身体充满，去除污垢，剩余之水向上溢出，阿弥陀佛（འོད་དཔག་མེད་）作为头饰。 观想用金刚杵（རྡོ་རྗེ）的空心部分来供养朵玛（གཏོར་མ་），打开金刚铃（རྡོར་ཐལ་ཁ་ཕྱེ）的边缘，摇动手铃（སེ་གོལ་），念诵‘ཨོཾ་ག་ཎ་པ་ཏི་ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་བྷྱོ་’（Om Gaṇa Pati Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgata Bhyo）三遍，或者念诵‘ཨོཾ་ན་མོ་སྟུ་དྷི་མཿག་ན་པ་ཏི་ཨི་དཾ་བ་ལིཾ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི་སྭཱཧཱ།’（Om Namo Stu Dhi Maḥ Gaṇa Pati Idaṃ Baliṃ Kha Kha Khāhi Khāhi Svāhā）三遍或七遍来供养。 用涂香（ཨརྒྷཾ་）等供品来供养。赞颂道：‘诸佛之身语意金刚，无二智慧所生之，象头王（ཚོགས་རྗེ་）财神（ཚོགས་བདག་）众之主，敬礼赞叹障碍之主。’或者，‘诸佛事业之化现，降伏魔众及障碍，赐予成就之殊胜，如意降雨赞于汝。’ ‘无论修何法，能令引入歧途之众，见闻亦不能动摇，敬礼赞叹众之主。’‘身如珊瑚般红亮，无碍成就咒语语，大乐无二智慧意，大乐之最所化现赞。’ ‘供水鲜花与燃香，明灯涂香与美食，饮品乐器与华丽，无边供养朵玛敬献。’‘如您所誓愿纳受，修持供养眷属众，一切违缘皆平息，如意所愿皆成就。’ 如此赞颂，并祈祷所 желаемого。仅供养朵玛即可，若不与其他法相关联，则如下忏悔罪过。若想念诵咒语，观想自身为本尊，从心间咒语发出光芒，触及象头王（དཔལ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་），激发其心续。 从其心间的‘གཿ’（Gaḥ）字及咒语发出无量光芒，从梵天之处，象头王（ཚོགས་བདག་）及其眷属如降雨般降下所欲之物。再次，光芒聚集三千世界所有有情无情之享受，斩断所有邪魔外道，光芒融入自身，观想一切如愿成就，念诵‘ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿགཿཧཱུྃ་སྭཱཧཱ།’（Om Āḥ Gaḥ Hūṃ Svāhā）以成就一切，以及‘ཨོཾ་གཿགཿསིདྡྷི་སིདྡྷི་སརྦ་ཨརྠ་མེ’（Om Gaḥ Gaḥ Siddhi Siddhi Sarva Artha Me）。

Praying 'ཨོཾ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཏུ་མཾ། སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་' (Om Abhiṣiñcatu Maṃ Sarva Tathāgata), reciting 'ཨོཾ་བཛྲི་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ།' (Om Vajrī Bhāva Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ), and empowering from the crown of the head with vase water, the body is filled, impurities are removed, and from the remaining water overflowing upwards, Amitabha (འོད་དཔག་མེད་) adorns the head. Visualize offering the torma (གཏོར་མ་) with the hollow part of the vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ), opening the edge of the vajra bell (རྡོར་ཐལ་ཁ་ཕྱེ), shaking the hand bell (སེ་གོལ་), reciting 'ཨོཾ་ག་ཎ་པ་ཏི་ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་བྷྱོ་' (Om Gaṇa Pati Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgata Bhyo) three times, or reciting 'ཨོཾ་ན་མོ་སྟུ་དྷི་མཿག་ན་པ་ཏི་ཨི་དཾ་བ་ལིཾ་ཁ་ཁ་ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི་སྭཱཧཱ།' (Om Namo Stu Dhi Maḥ Gaṇa Pati Idaṃ Baliṃ Kha Kha Khāhi Khāhi Svāhā) three or seven times to offer. Offer with argham (ཨརྒྷཾ་) and so on. Praise: 'The body, speech, and mind vajra of the Buddhas, born from non-dual wisdom, Lord of Hosts (ཚོགས་རྗེ་), Master of Wealth (ཚོགས་བདག་), Lord of Assemblies, I prostrate and praise the chief of obstacles.' Or, 'Manifestation of the Buddhas' activities, subduing all demons and obstacles, bestowing the supreme accomplishment of practice, showering desires, I praise you.' 'Whatever is practiced, the assemblies that lead astray, even seeing or hearing cannot move, I praise you, the lord of hosts.' 'The body is red and majestic like coral, speech is the unobstructed mantra, mind is the great bliss non-dual wisdom, praise to the one who manifests the supreme bliss.' 'Offering water, flowers, and incense, lamps, perfume, and food, drinks, laughter, ornaments, and various music, I offer a vast ocean of beautiful offering tormas.' 'Having accepted as per your vow, pacify all unfavorable conditions for the practitioners and the retinue who are practicing and offering, and accomplish all desires as wished.' Thus praise, and pray for desired meanings. This is sufficient for just the torma offering; if not related to other practices, then confess transgressions as below. If you wish to recite the mantra, visualize yourself as the yidam, light radiates from the mantra at your heart, striking the Lord of Hosts (དཔལ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་), stimulating his mind-stream. From the 'གཿ' (Gaḥ) at his heart, along with the mantra, radiate immeasurable light, from the place of Brahma, the Lord of Hosts (ཚོགས་བདག་) and his retinue descend like rain with all desires. Again, the light gathers all the enjoyments of the animate and inanimate world, cuts off all evil spirits and heretics, and the light dissolves into oneself, believing that everything is accomplished as wished, recite 'ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿགཿཧཱུྃ་སྭཱཧཱ།' (Om Āḥ Gaḥ Hūṃ Svāhā) to accomplish everything, and 'ཨོཾ་གཿགཿསིདྡྷི་སིདྡྷི་སརྦ་ཨརྠ་མེ' (Om Gaḥ Gaḥ Siddhi Siddhi Sarva Artha Me). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
