To the masters of the ten directions and three times, I pray in prose, or I pray to the Dharma Lord Sakya Paṇḍita Kunga Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, who is inseparable from the noble Manjushri, the embodiment of wisdom, the essence of all three times. Praying three times with 'Please bless my lineage,' etc., white nectar descended from the Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ,Devanagari: ॐ,IAST: oṃ,Literal meaning: Oṃ) at the forehead of the Dharma Lord, entwined around the stem of the lotus seat within the body, and dissolved into the Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ,Devanagari: ॐ,IAST: oṃ,Literal meaning: Oṃ) at one's own forehead. The impurities of the body were purified, the vase empowerment was obtained, and the siddhi of the body of all Buddhas of the three times was obtained. Red nectar descended from the Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ,Devanagari: आः,IAST: āḥ,Literal meaning: Āḥ) at the throat of the Dharma Lord, and dissolved into the Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ,Devanagari: आः,IAST: āḥ,Literal meaning: Āḥ) at one's own throat. The impurities of speech were purified, the secret empowerment was obtained, and the siddhi of the speech of all Buddhas of the three times was obtained. Blue nectar descended from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हूँ,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hūṃ) at the heart of the Dharma Lord, and dissolved into the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हूँ,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hūṃ) at one's own heart. The impurities of mind were purified, the empowerment of wisdom jñāna was obtained, and the siddhi of the mind of all Buddhas of the three times was obtained. From the Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ,Devanagari: ॐ,IAST: oṃ,Literal meaning: Oṃ) Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ,Devanagari: आः,IAST: āḥ,Literal meaning: Āḥ) Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हूँ,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hūṃ) of the Dharma Lord, a mixture of white, red, and blue nectar like a rainbow descended, and dissolved into the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हूँ,IAST: hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hūṃ) at one's own heart. The inside of the body was filled, the impurities of body, speech, and mind were purified, the fourth empowerment was obtained, and the siddhi of the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas of the three times was obtained. The Dharma Lord entered from the central channel at the crown of one's own head, and immediately the Brahma aperture closed. The body transformed into a palace, within which, on the stamen of a thousand-petaled lotus at the heart, on a full moon disc, in a tent of various colors of rainbow light, one abides constantly and inseparably. Thinking of offering the inner offering, from 'Offerings like the ocean of hearing are all around,' etc., to 'May the Guru of beings always be pleased,' and reciting 'May Sakya Paṇḍita always be pleased,' and focusing the mind on the true meaning. Because one possesses the key points of the body, focusing awareness on the sun-colored Dhīḥ at the heart of the Dharma Lord, making the mind of the Dharma Lord and one's own mind inseparable and blending into one, abiding in the state of bliss-emptiness union, the great seal, without making any alterations to thoughts, abiding as long as possible. When desiring to rise from the session, recite 'By this merit, may the extent of the sky be filled,' etc., one śloka, 'May I be born in the pure land of Akṣobhya Buddha,' etc., two ślokas, and 'All those sentient beings who are sick,' etc., and 'In all directions, body and mind.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The earth and so on, and all sentient beings in the ten directions, and so on, and the deities who protect the north, and so on, and the snowy land of Tibet, and so on, may the gurus of all beings be auspicious! This is the practice of Guru Yoga based on 'Jamgon Sakya Paṇḍita's (a famous Sakya scholar) 'Guru Yoga', which was compiled by Ngagwang Kunga Lodro Sangye Tenpai Gyaltsen Palsangpo (a high-ranking Sakya monk) based on the writings of previous gurus. 5-280 This practice is recorded without any modification, just as it is practiced by oneself. The prayers and aspirations in it can be combined with this practice according to one's own understanding, and it is not necessary to copy them completely. Some ancient books record that during the day, the guru is visualized on the top of the head, and at night, he is visualized in the heart, and recitations are performed. Whether to adopt this method is up to you. However, the above content is complete enough. If you can practice in this way, the blessings of the four activities (pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subduing) will be achieved without hindrance, and you will definitely attain the state of Dharma King (chos rje, referring to an enlightened being) in the end. The writer of this text is Zhulungpa (gzhu lung pa). I respectfully prostrate to the venerable Guru! The conduct of the body is pure and undefiled, Possessing the precepts that please the Buddha; The activity of speech is perfectly sublime, Pervading all fields of knowledge; The realization of the mind is profoundly deep, Understanding the truth of all phenomena; Making all wise men rejoice, You possess a sea of virtues; Maturing all sentient beings, The lord of Dharma with vast activities; Taking pride in you increases auspiciousness, Following you increases wisdom; Following you, there is no fear, Respectful service brings all happiness; Such a virtuous lord of Dharma, I sincerely pray to the supreme Guru! 5-281 Abandoning all offerings, One should offer to the Guru, All Buddhas say the same, Therefore, with all things, May I be able to please the Guru! In this life and future lives, Until I attain Buddhahood, May I always be at the Guru's feet, Staying inseparable and abiding! Offering with all offerings, Always listening to the excellent Dharma, And being able to practice as taught! 《The Prayer to the Guru》 was written by the venerable Sakya Paṇḍita. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
