Apart from properly managing what no longer exists, other items should not be given to non-monastics. The remaining tea water of the Sangha, 4-48 The outer packaging of tea bricks and butter, such as leather, etc., the leftovers, those present there may use. However, if the abuse of these things becomes very widespread and unlimited, the management will be the same as above. If it becomes necessary to consume alcohol or similar items due to work requirements, do not drink it carelessly in a place other than the monastic residence. On the third and eighth days of the month, when offering butter lamps, those who are skilled should melt the butter at appropriate times in the morning and evening without wasting it. The recorder representative, the ten-chief, the tea master, and the five-chief, who are skilled elders, should be responsible for making them. During festivals, the person who makes the food and the person in charge of retreats should be arranged by the monastery's administrator as needed. Therefore, everyone should understand that maintaining clean habits and practical actions will accomplish the present and future lives of oneself and others. All of the above tea, butter, salt, rice, etc., must first be correctly determined to ensure that the quantity of items is neither too little nor too much, and according to the number of Sangha members, the person in charge should clearly record it in the ledger and make corresponding increases and decreases. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
