Summer and winter residences, Dharma talks, tea for practitioners' liberation, and cultural events, such as gatherings in the south, as well as other extra gatherings in monasteries both north and south. For all these gatherings, all kinds of offerings such as tea must be provided, as well as the expenses for the four doorkeepers. For those reciting scriptures, four bowls of tea are provided daily per monk. The tea snacks for the one hundred thousand Tara ceremonies, as well as exquisite offerings, and the newly built Torma offerings of Samling, as well as prepared food, must be of good color, aroma, and taste, so that the Sangha is satisfied and the patrons are content, and everyone is happy. If carelessness and unfamiliarity occur, or if there are problems such as poor color and taste of food, or if good items are used improperly, then the person in charge must take responsibility and compensate for the corresponding items. In addition, theft and other behaviors are prohibited. If favoritism occurs, it must be strictly managed. You must all understand this. During the Vajrakilaya Grand Puja and the Grand Doma Puja, fruits and other foods must be provided to whichever monks are present. All water must be taken by those who are skilled in the tea room. Firewood must be managed by the wood manager, and good or bad firewood must be provided as needed. During extra gatherings, all items for offering to the Sangha must be managed. All affairs of this kitchen are the responsibility of the person in charge. Those who are skilled in the tea room must be responsible for one aspect of the work, and most importantly, they must serve the Sangha wholeheartedly, like taking on their own responsibility, and do cleaning and other work well. Except for the kitchen staff, the Sangha, and the monastic officials, others may not enter the kitchen. The gifts of the patrons must be handled by the person in charge in their own room. Only food for the Sangha is provided here, as well as items needed in connection with this, such as the sixty-bottom tea during the Dharma assembly, the storekeeper, and the Tormas of the Torma masters. The money during the residence period, as well as the musicians who blow the instruments and the patrons of extra tea, and the government and private offerings, must be sought by the person in charge to find suitable tea carriers. Private carriers must be accompanied by the tea room manager or a skilled elder, and if there are omissions, penalties will be imposed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
