'The Sadhana of Yogini: The Excellent Path of Khechara' Namo Guru Vajravārāhī (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་བཛྲ་ཝཱ་ར་ཧི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरुवज्रवाराही, Sanskrit Romanization: guru vajravārāhī, Literal meaning: Guru Vajravarahi). Homage to the Supreme Yogini! I shall write a concise and easy to understand 'Excellent Path of Khechara' sadhana. Here, a brief summary of the daily practice of the Supreme Vajrayogini: Visualize in the sky in front of you, on a jeweled throne supported by lions, the kind root guru appearing as Vajradhara, whose body is the Sangha, speech is the Dharma, and mind is the embodiment of all Buddhas. I and all sentient beings, Take refuge in the Guru, Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha! (Recite seven times) The refuge field dissolves into oneself. In order to liberate all sentient beings from samsara and place them in the state of Buddhahood, I will practice Vajrayogini! (Recite three times) Visualize yourself as Vajrayogini, on a lotus moon disc above the crown of your head, Vajrasattva Heruka, white in color, holding a vajra and bell, embracing his consort. The consort, Snyemsma, is white in color, holding a curved knife and skull cup, embracing the deity. Both are adorned with bone ornaments, in their heart center, on a moon disc, is a white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, from which light radiates, inviting the nectar of wisdom, which dissolves into the Hūṃ syllable. Please bless me, To pacify all diseases, evil spirits, and sins! After praying in this way, nectar descends from the Hūṃ syllable, radiating outward from the union of the deities, entering from the crown of your head, transforming all diseases, evil spirits, and sins into pus, blood, and smoky grime that is expelled from the body. The remaining space is filled with nectar. Hūṃ! Join the thumb and index finger, cross the other fingers behind and hold them with the index fingers. Show the mudra with the tips of the thumb and little finger touching, and say 'Ha Ho Hriḥ' three times. With the left index finger, make a gesture of taking and tasting nectar, and say 'Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ', visualizing that the 'Vaṃ' syllable in the heart is being offered. Visualize in the sky in front, on a lion throne, lotus, and moon disc, the kind root guru appearing as Vajradhara, with a red body, holding a chopper and skull cup khatvanga, adorned with bone ornaments, sitting in vajra posture. Join the palms and pray: 'Precious Lama, please bless my lineage!' Three times. After praying, the Lama dissolves into light and merges into oneself. Due to the merging, in the heart, within the two-layered dharmodaya, on the moon, the 'Vaṃ' syllable surrounded by mantra garlands radiates light. Purify oneself. From emptiness, within the two-layered dharmodaya, on the lotus, sun, Bhairava, and Kalachakra crossed, transform oneself into Vajrayogini, red, adorned with the crown of Vairocana. The right hand holds a vajra chopper pointing downwards, and the left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood and offers it to the mouth. The left shoulder carries a khatvanga adorned with a drum, bell, and three-pointed banner. Adorned with a garland of dry human heads and five bone ornaments, pressing the breasts and forehead of Bhairava and Kalachakra with a posture of right extension and left contraction. Reside in the center of blazing wisdom fire. Light radiates from the 'Vaṃ' syllable and mantra garland in the heart. The outer world transforms into a dharmodaya palace, and the inner sentient beings transform into Vajrayogini. Say 'Pheṃ'. Join the index fingers of the right and left hands. Touch the tips of the middle finger and thumb separately, making the remainder appear like flames, and rotate them in the space of the forehead. Again, light radiates from the 'Vaṃ' syllable in one's heart, inviting Vajrayogini from Akanishta, surrounded by Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, and dakinis, and all beings transform into Vajrayogini, merging inseparably into 'Vajra Samājaḥ Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ'. Say 'Oṃ Yogaśuddha Sarvadharma Yogaśuddho'haṃ'. Cross the two fists at the heart three times. On the navel, heart, forehead, crown of the head, and limbs, visualize on top of the moon mandala, 'Oṃ Vaṃ', 'Haṃ Yoṃ', 'Hrīṃ Moṃ', 'Hrīṃ Hrīṃ', 'Hūṃ Hūṃ', 'Phaṭ Phaṭ', with clear red, blue, white, yellow, green, and smoky colors.
