Has already set in the west. Where, like the sky, is not an object of thought, the nature of nirvana is extinguished. Where suchness is indivisible, and all objects of focus are pacified. Where great bliss is primordially enlightened, transcending the realm of signs. When the absence of focus is that very nature, then one does not enter into liberation through hearing. However, even if it does not enter the mind, one says of all knowable things, "It is like this." For the all-knowing one, it is merely a direct and unerring statement. If so, then how does the Victorious One, like the boundary of space, act alone? Primordially, it is not an object of thought, speech, or discrimination, but is self-aware and peaceful. It is profound and extremely difficult to realize, not an object of practice seen from this shore to the other. It is subtle and not an object of sight, and can never be expressed by symbols. It is wise, the realm of the Victorious Ones, merely arising as interdependence. Furthermore, when the Protector enters the heart of enlightenment, the army of demons who are proud of themselves. The terrifying apparitions pervade the sky with wheels and great arrows. Raining down showers of rough and sharp weapons, and emitting all unpleasant sounds. You have completely vanquished without weapons, I prostrate to the feet of the fearless hero. Whose face of the demon girl blooms like a lotus, her body slender like a pond. Possessing the swelling of twin breasts, and a song that is worthy of listening to. With a captivating and seductive demeanor, and a body as red as the rising sun. Having destroyed the army of the flower-arrow wielder, having attained this enlightenment, I prostrate to him. Whomever the guide tames, he sees countless worlds. The immeasurable assembly of beings, he watches over them six times day and night. Those beings who are drowning in the ocean of suffering, he especially protects with great compassion. Such a one who possesses such activity, what wise person would not rely on him? Your actions pervade the sky, possessing a wondrous and radiant appearance. Dispelling the darkness of the three realms, supremely diligent in benefiting others. Gazing upon the beautiful face of compassion is never tiring, striving to dry up the ocean of suffering. The sun of speech rises from the path of the gods, becoming the glory of all beings. The qualities of the Victorious Ones are without end or middle, pervading like the sky. The activity of deeds, like the light of various jewels in a beautiful vessel, like lapis lazuli.

Through the virtue of these deeds, may I and all beings quickly attain the sun of omniscience, the chief of all knowers. Thus, may the great drum of praise resound well, spreading excellently in all directions through merit. May the Victorious One's teachings endure, may all beings be happy and well, and may their wishes be fulfilled. May the sound of the Dharma drum beautify the world, and may the continuous rain of immeasurable benefit and happiness be auspicious. May the pure clouds of perfect abundance arise spontaneously in the endless expanse of the future. May I also always be fully ordained in all future lifetimes, adorned with the ornaments of the three trainings, striving to benefit others with great splendor. May my wisdom greatly expand in all fields of knowledge, may I completely conquer the decline of samsara and nirvana, and may I attain the supreme state of the guide of beings, the supreme sage. May all the aims of beings always be fulfilled for me from this day forth, without interruption. May the light of the Dharma be completely clear and illuminate immeasurable beings. May the great ocean of bliss and goodness pervade the expanse of the sky, possessing a banner of hundreds of thousands of riches. May all beings, the source of jewels, attain it by relying on me. In the lotus lake of morality, the petals of wisdom bloom, possessing the essence of honey, the heart of altruism. The garden where the intelligent six-legged bees thrive is renowned for being clear even from afar. However, those who dwell nearby do not see the qualities, like a turtle that has lived for a hundred years. Among the fools who dwell together, how can the magic of my mind be clear? Such a noble person, a poet among the snowy mountains, with the swaying petals of glorious poetry, is extremely bright, causing joy to all who hold honey. May this be placed in the spontaneously accomplished place of glorious Samye Monastery. The great cloud of poetry, possessing a garland of combined lightning, with the thunder of eloquence proclaiming in all directions, causing the petals of intelligence to sway, raining down delight. This method has come near from the cloud of composition. The fragrant sandalwood born in Malaya does not need worms in the tree holes. Likewise, a virtuous person is never needed in a garden of ignorance. A great crown adorned with various jewels is beautiful at the top of the head. Likewise, this wisdom of the wise is the best gift for great beings. Praise to the Sugata, the god of

Named "Melodious Sound Like a Great Drum." For the meaning of scripture, reasoning, and pith instructions, the rays of wisdom fully bloom, and poetry, prosody, and metaphor, etc., are thoroughly understood without error. Samye Tsultrim Lodrö has skillfully adorned it with the ornaments of words and meaning. Here, the long and short verses are not corrected by Paro, as they have achieved the meaning of prosody. The same applies to the orthography that is inconsistent with the old and new. Auspicious! From the Ancestral Heritage, the Collected Works of Longchen Rabjam (Vol. 24), Praise to the Sugata, the Melodious Sound of the Divine Drum.
