Doing so is following in the footsteps of the holy ones. Furthermore, the power of introspection and analysis is not the master of the Dharma, not abandoning a moment is the root of grasping at afflictions. Gradually suppressing, with short-sighted intelligence pursuing the eight worldly dharmas, small desire is a sign that the essential point of practice has been lost. Like this, if one's own mind is not in harmony with the Dharma, even if one encounters profound instructions, one will not be liberated. Therefore, with mindfulness and awareness, make this precious human life meaningful, I join my palms in exhortation. This method was printed with great effort. May the noble son, whose previous virtuous karmic imprints awaken like dew, fulfill all his desires in accordance with the Dharma, may his lotus feet be firm, and may the Dharma and politics flourish. May the fortune, essence, and wealth of this land greatly increase, may the years be bountiful, the land prosperous, and may humans and livestock be free from all diseases. May the rain fall on time, and may hail, frost, and blight be pacified, may the happiness of a perfect age increase. May the Dharma of the Victorious Ones, like a conch shell, swirl to the right, may the sound of the white side's victory be proclaimed, may the music of the gods pervade all three realms, may the Three Jewels be auspicious and perfect. This is the second volume of Profound Essence.
