"Let it rest in a relaxed state." "Do not pursue, do not gather, do not meditate, do not be distracted, let it rest in a rootless state." "Unthinkingly relax, unmeditatively loosen, effortlessly clear, tracelessly open, Phat!" "The above is an introduction to settling. Settling in this way allows the state of grasper and grasped, discursive thoughts, attachment and aversion, the emptiness of mind itself, the groundless and rootless, unborn nature to naturally abide. Phat! After settling, know that awareness is not defiled by discursive thoughts, awareness is clear, there are no thoughts, do not be defiled by ordinary good and bad thoughts. Look, clear and without thought, without thought and clear, recognize this. The unelaborated co-emergent wisdom, like the sun rising in a clear sky, is clearly seen. This is the naked awareness of post-attainment, the primordial purity not stained by the dirt of intellect, the primordial liberation not bound by the clinging of experience, this is naked and calm awareness. Phat!" "Second, guarding without distraction. First, introducing it on oneself. Mind itself is empty, groundless and rootless, for example, being in the state of space. Now, the suddenly arising awareness, in an instant, various good and bad thoughts arise. Introducing it on oneself as the nature of reality, that is, not abandoning, not stopping, not training, not changing these thoughts, not suppressing thoughts, not following thoughts, not destroying it with antidotes. Phat!" "Let it gaze intently with effortless mindfulness. When looking, because there is nothing to be seen, thoughts are not abandoned, but dissolve into the realm of reality." "Thoughts are recognized as the Dharmakaya. Phat!" "Look, the arising things are purified, self-born and self-liberated, arising and liberation are simultaneous, there is no before and after, ordinary awareness arises as meditation. Second, determining that thoughts and Dharmakaya are inseparable. Recognize all appearances and awareness as Dharmakaya, believe, determine, gain confidence. For example, waves arise continuously in the ocean, but the wave is the ocean, the ocean is the wave, the wave and the ocean are inseparable. Similarly, thoughts and Dharmakaya are inseparable, samsara and nirvana are inseparable. Therefore, all appearances appear as the Dharmakaya." "Etc. From the unborn state, the way of appearing does not stop. No matter what appears, the basis of appearance is not established. Whatever appears, its nature is empty. It is called being in a state that is not fabricated by the mind. Phat!"

E! Emptiness has been empty since beginningless time. Real emptiness is empty by its very nature. For example, a horse gives birth to a horse, and the horse is the horse itself. Emptiness arises as emptiness, and emptiness is emptiness itself. The unborn arises as the unborn. Union arises as union. In the Prajnaparamita Sutra, it says: All dharmas are non-dual, they cannot be made into two, they are neither different nor the same. It also says: Non-duality is empty in non-duality. In the true meaning, non-duality does not become one. Like this. The moment of arising is liberated in itself. As it is said. To settle in the confidence of liberation is to be liberated in non-grasping because it dwells in uncertainty. Because it dwells in a sudden blow, it is liberated in being hit immediately. Because it dwells in being primordially so, it is liberated in a decisive cut. Because it dwells in self-arising, it is liberated in self-liberation. Whatever discursive thoughts arise, knowing that their essence is primordially liberated, gives rise to the confidence of not needing to be liberated again. Knowing that self-nature is self-liberated, gives rise to the confidence of not needing to be liberated by antidotes. Knowing that dharmata is nakedly liberated, gives rise to the confidence of liberation in the non-duality of appearance and awareness. Knowing that characteristics are completely liberated, gives rise to the confidence of liberation without effort. Thus, it is taught. This is the key to striking the essential point. The rootless, baseless, self-liberated, original mind. Explaining self-liberation in the state of naked liberation, may all beings, without abandoning the dharmadhatu, be self-liberated and attain the state of omniscient victors. The means of directly pointing out the uncreated original state as it is. Completed by the yogi Byarmé Longyang (བྱར་མེད་ཀློང་ཡངས།,藏文) who has complete faith in the stainless lotus feet of the holy lama. Auspicious! Auspicious! From "The Legacy of the Ancestors". "The Collected Works of Longchen Rabjam" (11) The Order of Directly Pointing Out the Uncreated Original State as it is.
