The secret practice of the planetary demons, the fire whirlwind, resides here. Homage to Guru Padmasambhava! The supremely secret and unsurpassed practice of the astrologer's planets is as follows: In a secluded place, create the image of the planets. The upper part of the body is that of a deity, with the central three faces being dark blue, the right three faces being white, and the left three faces being green. Above is the head of a crow, and each of the ten faces has three eyes. The right face smiles, the left face glares, and the central face is majestic and wrathful. Of the four hands, the first right hand holds the banner of Makara, the first left hand holds a snake lasso, and the lower two hands each draw a bow and arrow. The entire body is covered with a thousand eyes gazing. Adorned with precious jewels, it is terrifying. Draw the image of a lean astrologer. On its four sides are four mother goddesses: In the east is a tiger-faced Rakshasa holding a cleaver; in the south is a bear-faced Rakshasa holding a noose of intestines; in the west is a pig-faced Rakshasa holding an iron hook; in the north is a marmot-faced Rakshasa lifting Mount Meru and circling it around its head. The bodies are human, but the heads are different, with colors in the order of white, yellow, red, and green. On the outer eight directions are the eight classes of gods and demons: In the east is a white Deva holding a lute; in the south is a smoky black Yama with disheveled hair, holding a club; in the west is a red Naga with a snake-headed crest, holding a snake lasso; in the north is a greenish-yellow Yaksha holding a mongoose; in the southeast is a yellowish-white King holding a bamboo staff; in the southwest is a red Tsen holding a rope; in the northwest is a greenish-yellow Dmu holding a disease bag; in the northeast is a black demon holding a black spear. In the east are the Pleiades and other seven stars. In the southwest and north, there are seven stars each, totaling twenty-eight stars of various colors, holding vases, auspicious knots, Dharma wheels, victory banners, battle axes, wooden staffs, ropes, jewels, houses, lotuses, umbrellas, banners, tridents, swords, basins, bows and arrows, spears, clubs, lamps, rosaries, curved knives, vajras, skull cups filled with blood, mongooses, incense burners, conch shells, and lutes. On the outer four sides, there are black people shouting and wailing, black women with disheveled hair, beating puppets, and black dogs.

Stick it on a tree. Draw tigers, monkeys, birds, leopards, cats, bears, brown bears, wolves, vultures, etc. all around, and make a circle of burning fire. Then, make a triangular platform, four finger-widths high and one cubit on each of the three sides, and smear it with ashes. In the center, dig a triangular hole and place inside it an effigy of the enemy made of dough or earth, lying face up. On top of it, place nine circles of planetary offerings, decorated with a lingam and flesh and blood on top. On its surface, draw the face of the previous painted image and cover it with a black tent. To the side, place a triangular torma surrounded by thumbprints, and a torma for the local deity. Arrange as many offerings of weapons such as knives and spears as possible. This is the method of reliance. During the practice, hold the life-stone, and write "ཏྲི་དྲུག་" (tri drug, Devanagari: त्रिड्रुग्, Roman transliteration: tri drug, literal meaning: naked six) in vermilion on a flat stone, wrap it in silk, and tie it up. This will make it come like a body and a shadow, and there will be no conflict or deviation. The actual practice consists of three parts: recitation, practice, and action. First, the recitation: take refuge and generate bodhicitta. From emptiness, visualize yourself as Padma Thotreng Tsal, dark blue, with three eyes blazing like the sun and moon, gnashing your teeth, your hair and beard red-yellow, radiating the sparks of the fire of the end of the kalpa, adorned with sun and moon skull ornaments, your right hand holding a thousand-spoked wheel rotating above your head, your left hand forming a wrathful mudra and holding a phurba, sitting with both legs in a single-leg stretch and single-leg bent posture, wearing a tiger skin lower garment and a human skin upper garment, and adorned with a garland of skulls. Visualize emanations of small wrathful sparks of fire radiating from the pores of your skin, causing gods, demons, and the eight classes of beings to be terrified and tremble. Then, enhance your awareness and recite "Hum Hum Hum." Then, visualize the painted image in front of you as it is drawn, and recite the seven invocation mantras, visualizing the planets appearing from the direction they travel and seizing it. Recite the invocation mantra "ཧྲཱི་ཤག་རུ་རཾ་ན་གེ་ཙི་ཏ་ཏྲཾ། མ་མ་ཡོང་ཟ་འགྲམ་ཧ་ཧེ་ཡོ་གེ་ཤ་ལ་ཛ་ཛ་" (hri shag ru ram na ge tsi ta tram, ma ma yong za agram ha he yo ge sha la dza dza) as much as possible, and at the end of the session, visualize the torma as a mountain and ocean of flesh and blood with "ཨཱོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་" (om ah hum, Devanagari: ओम् आः हुम्, Roman transliteration: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, literal meaning: Om Ah Hum), play drums, bells, skull drums, and other instruments, burn a large amount of incense, and say this: Hum! In the past, in the presence of Vajradhara, promised.
