Homage! May the cloud-mass of non-thought abide! Primordially unborn, all elaborations are pacified. That which is equal to space, may it be greatly worshipped. The very nature of mind is great perfection. May the cloud-mass of space be made clear. If any yogi wishes to practice the wisdom of the non-conceptual nature of mind, they must be skilled in the four key points: view, meditation, conduct, and result. First, the essence of the view is self-originated wisdom: emptiness, clarity, unceasing, not established anywhere, not cut off in extent, not falling to any side, without entity or characteristics. For example, like space, it is primordially pure. This itself is not established anywhere, but remains as the basis for whatever appears, so the dharmadhatu is free from elaboration. Now, the very nature of mind, the unobstructed awareness of emptiness and clarity without artifice, is introduced. From the aspect of the unchanging nature of reality, emptiness and clarity, the wisdom of the unobstructed appearance of the radiance of the dharmadhatu and awareness is the essence, the nature of which is inseparable and non-dual, is the wisdom of the dharmakaya, the thusness. From the empty aspect of that very thing is the dharmakaya, from the clear aspect is the sambhogakaya, and from the basis of appearance, awareness, is the nirmanakaya. One should understand that they are not separate, nor are they undifferentiated. Thus, although self-awareness abides as the three kayas, it is confused because its true nature is not known. Although many outer and inner confusions arise, from the very moment of their arising, they have never been confused about their essence. Confusion does not abide in their nature. It is impossible for confusion to exist in their suchness. If you ask, "Why does a mind of grasping and fixation arise with regard to what appears as confusion?" It is like a dream: just as it is not established at the time of its appearance, appearance is due to the power of the accumulation of various habitual patterns, appearing even though it does not exist. At the time of the appearance of a dream, its essence is not established, so it has never existed, it is not established as true, and when one awakens, it has not gone anywhere. Likewise, confusion also does not have the nature of an entity. It is not established at the time of its present appearance. It does not abandon its own characteristics at the time of ultimate purification. Or, like the appearance of being intoxicated by datura, although dualistic grasping appears as confusion, it is not established in reality, so the appearance of confusion is baseless and rootless. Therefore, one should determine that all appearances of existence, the outer world and the beings within it, are the magical display of the confusion of one's own mind. One should also determine that the confused mind itself is like unsupportable space. The wisdom of the empty and clear sky, the self-originated

It should be determined with certainty. Furthermore, if we examine this illusion, if even the smallest particle cannot be established, how can gross matter be established as truly existent? If we examine the grasping of illusion, if even a moment cannot be established, how can the continuous grasping of subject and object be established? Because the illusion of external objects cannot be established, the grasping of illusion that is the subject is also determined to be without foundation and completely rootless. Thus, the illusion of samsara is like the sky, without support, completely rootless, and primordially empty. To determine it as the nature of an illusion that appears to be non-existent is to reduce samsara to the nameless. This is the introduction to the great liberation from the attachment to duality, which is the obstacle to view. The true view is self-awareness, unadulterated and uncorrupted, the intention of the Buddhas. It has never had faults, its qualities are spontaneously perfect, it is unchanging and immutable at all times, it is the essence of the Sugatas, the source of all mandalas, without increase or decrease in accomplishment and clarity. From the perspective of emptiness, there is no birth, no cessation, no coming, no going, no bondage, no liberation, no support, no abiding, no samsara, no nirvana, no acceptance, no rejection, no emptiness, no non-emptiness, no thing, no sign, no name, no letter, no sound, no word, no end, no middle, and from the beginning, it is without inherent existence. It is beyond the realm of speech, thought, and expression. From the perspective of appearance, there is awareness, there is clarity, there is body, there is wisdom, there are qualities, there is activity, there are fields, there are palaces, there are lords and retinues, and all perfect dharmas are completely present. From the beginning, without wavering from the intention of the inseparable body and wisdom, one becomes enlightened without effort or practice, abiding in the great sovereignty of spontaneous perfection, like a wish-fulfilling jewel. From the unchanging nature of nirvana, the self-born wisdom of the Buddha, which abides within oneself without searching, is the introduction to the king of views. Therefore, the self-born wisdom of view is not divided by attachment to good and bad, acceptance and rejection, hope and fear, partiality, etc., just as the vast sky is not divided. This is the definitive conclusion.
