Like the light of a mirror. Without depletion or increase, therefore like the light of a mirror. Thus it is introduced. Secondly, there are three ways to practice during times of delusion. Firstly, during times of delusion, when sentient beings pass through successive births, the wisdom of the bardo abides in the body, like placing a butter lamp inside a woman's body and introducing it. The two, oil and wick, white and red bindus, are examples of the wisdom of ignorance. Then, when the body is formed, the time and place are like a mirror. The meaning is the wisdom of the heart. The sign is introduced by the lamp. Wisdom is in the heart. The example of the mind of power arising from the meeting of the three-tiered wisdom and the wind of the lungs, and the sound of wisdom. It is introduced as the white light that arises from one direction of the five lights. The example of the mind, memory, and thought dissolving into the base and remaining unmoving. White into the five lights. Dissolving and not moving symbolizes the mind being liberated into wisdom. Again, the white mind is also called the sixth example, called intention. The five lights are examples of wisdom, the unobstructed sound of self-illumination appearing in the sky. The awareness that grasps the base, the compassion of the heart, abides in itself. The awareness that grasps characteristics, its power goes to the lungs, is the scattering of thoughts towards objects. The awareness of the appearance of objects is the vajra chain, which is designated as awareness on the sound of awareness. Thus, the nature of awareness abiding in the heart is meaning. As a sign, if you press your eyes, a lamp of empty bindus will appear, so have faith. There are two ways to practice at that time. First, the preliminary practice is to contemplate the eight examples of illusion, with substantial dreams as illusion, that is, the current appearance, this meaningless appearance is like last night's dream, thinking that it is not established in nature, it is a dream, it is an illusion, and do not be distracted even for a moment. When sleeping, hold the blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: 吽) in your heart and sleep, so that even in dreams, dreams appear as illusion, and when you catch a dream, attachment and aversion, acceptance and rejection, doing and not doing, Dharma practice, all movements and stillness are known to be dream and illusion, so do not be attached to reality or accept and reject. Based on this, contemplate illusion, mirage, echo, city of gandharvas, emanation, water moon, and mirage without distraction even for a moment. When sleeping, in the light

Hold the mind on the clear sphere of light in the heart. Having become skilled in this way, attachment to outer and inner ceases, and there is no arising of acceptance and rejection, hope and fear. The main practice is to directly point out the nature of mind. By meditating day and night on the self-arising lamp of wisdom, the best are liberated into the state of no remainder, the middling are liberated in the bardo, and the least are liberated into the spontaneously present nirmanakaya. Third, how to proceed on the ground in the bardo, there are three aspects: First, the elements are gathered, and the momentary fainting is pointed out by the suppression of waves. Then the three, sound, light, and rays, are pointed out at that time by the appearance of music and light. Then mind and wisdom turn their backs on each other, and the transference of the radiance of wisdom is like separating crystal and light, each on its own, and pointing out the appearance of the five white, without light. Then the radiance is transferred, and the wisdom appears outwardly, which is pointed out by the appearance from a butter lamp wick. Then the five lights pervade existence, which is pointed out by covering the eyes with a cloth and pointing out the light. Then the peaceful and wrathful ones appear, which is pointed out by masks and thangkas. Then the union of the four wisdoms is pointed out by layers of colored cloth. Then the spontaneously present jewel is pointed out to the sun, moon, planets, and stars in the sky, and to sentient beings on the earth. The sky is primordially pure, the planets and stars are the basis of appearance, and sentient beings are an example of appearing in the six realms. Liberation is pointed out as it was originally. The extremely secret pointing out of the heart essence is completed by the arising of stainless light. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya!
