Having prostrated to the Guru Avalokiteśvara, I will here arrange a brief recitation of the Red Guidance. To the supreme Buddha, Dharma, and Saṅgha, I go for refuge until enlightenment. By the merit of my giving and so forth, May I quickly attain Buddhahood for the benefit of beings. Tsho, the all-knowing protector of liberation! Rinchen Gyatso, Kunga Trinley Wang! I pray... Jikme Gocha, Trewo Chöwangpo! The lama who tames beings, at the feet of Tsewang Norbu! The hidden Buddha, Karma Dudjom's feet! I pray... The essence of all instructions, the Red Guidance! The lord of the wheel who fully matures my lineage! Supreme guide, Dampa, the root lama! I pray... Thus, through the power of praying to the lineage lamas! May non-conceptuality, mindfulness of death, and aversion to the eight worldly concerns arise! May definite renunciation, pure perception, vast increase, and pure samaya be attained! May maturation, liberation, confidence, and the fruits of the two stages ripen! I pray to the lama! I pray to the Dharmakaya of the lama! I pray to the lama! I pray to the Sambhogakaya of the lama! I pray to the lama! I pray to the Nirmanakaya of the lama! I pray to the lama! I pray to the Svabhavikakaya of the lama! I pray to the lama! I pray to the kind root lama! I pray that my lineage be blessed with maturation and liberation! Thus, recite as much as possible. At the four places of the lama, from Om Ah Hum Hrih (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱ༔ཧཱུྃ༔ཧྲཱི་，梵文天城体：ओम् आः हूँ ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ āḥ hūṃ hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：嗡啊吽舍). The six syllables, white, red, blue, and green, at the four places of oneself. By dissolving, may one receive empowerment, purify the two obscurations and the four paths. May one contemplate the manifestation of the fruits of the four kayas. Om Ah Hum Hrih (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱ༔ཧཱུྃ༔ཧྲཱི་，梵文天城体：ओम् आः हूँ ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ āḥ hūṃ hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：嗡啊吽舍)! Om Mani Padme Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：ओम् मणि पद्मे हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡 嘛呢 呗美 吽)! Afterwards, the lama dissolves into one's heart. May oneself become inseparable from Avalokiteshvara. Without distraction, without fabrication, rest in the natural state. When rising from that, may one possess the three aspects of taking. In all lifetimes, with the authentic lama. May we not be separated, and enjoy the glory of the Dharma. May we fully accomplish the qualities of the grounds and paths. May we quickly attain the state of Vajradhara! By this merit, may all beings. Having attained omniscience, defeat the enemies of wrongdoing. From the turbulent waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death. May we liberate beings from the ocean of samsara! Just as Manjushri Hero knows. And just as Samantabhadra is. I also train following them. I dedicate all these virtues. Thus, in the gateway to the general Red Guidance of Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara. Composed by a Vidyadhara.
