那地方因草木等多种原因骚扰非常严重，拉达克上部的所有贵族百姓都说无法忍受疾病，说国王必须立即返回，但不知用何种方法劝导。穆尔贝国王似乎旧病复发，于是根据自身能力，用礼物和甜言蜜语来笼络，如果能在此地安顿下来，如果不是因为异族邪恶势力的蛊惑，如果能得到会面加持，或许能稍微减轻业力的严重后果，因此先后派出了许多使者。然而，那个地方特殊的灾难、边境战争的硝烟，如同汉族妖魔鬼怪的狂风暴雨，无论在哪里都难以找到安宁之人。穆尔贝国王本身似乎更加疑神疑鬼，政府方面也怀疑他是被科萨尔之流蒙蔽了，对驻军长官鲁托等人也十分猜忌。为了消除这些疑虑，在12月17日他的两个使者到达时，拉达克的所有高级大臣和驻军代表立即发誓，向国王保证绝无欺骗和阴谋。但至今仍未出现任何好转的迹象。现在，他还没有来，而且长期以来一直担心穆尔谢尔会引发战争，情况仍然非常不稳定。这或许是雪域怙主（观世音菩萨）慈悲的加持，以及至尊空行母为了弘扬佛法而延缓局势的一种方式，否则这个地方可能会发生一场巨大的动乱。我本人出生在多康（多卫康区）的隐秘之地隆久。我是一个为了佛法而游历各地的微不足道的苦行者，在印度和克什米尔边境的国王纷争之中，以极大的毅力和修行，身口意三门承受了无数的痛苦，这不过是前世业力的显现。要知道，幸福快乐的到来是上师三宝的慈悲，而所有的痛苦不幸都是自己前世的业力所致，除此之外别无他物。现在我所要做的，就是遵从至尊胜者的教诲。

That place is extremely troubled by grass, trees, and various other things, so all the noble people of upper Ladakh say that they cannot bear the disease and that the king must return immediately, but they do not know what method to use to persuade him. It seems that King Mulbek has had a relapse of his old illness, so they try to win him over with gifts and sweet words according to their own abilities. If they can settle down here, and if it is not because of the deception of evil foreign forces, if they can receive a meeting and blessing, perhaps they can slightly alleviate the serious consequences of karma. Therefore, they sent many messengers back and forth. However, the special disasters of that place, the smoke of border wars, are like the storms of Han Chinese demons and ghosts, and it is difficult to find peaceful people anywhere. King Mulbek himself seems to be even more suspicious, and the government also suspects that he has been deceived by the likes of Kosar, and is very suspicious of the garrison commander Ruto and others. In order to dispel these doubts, when his two messengers arrived on December 17th, all the senior ministers of Ladakh and the representatives of the garrison immediately swore an oath, assuring the king that there was absolutely no deception or conspiracy. But until now, there has been no sign of improvement. Now, he has not come, and for a long time, he has been worried that Murshel will cause a war, and the situation remains very unstable. This may be a blessing from the compassion of the Lord of the Snowy Land (Avalokiteśvara), and a way for the supreme Dakini to delay the situation in order to promote the Dharma, otherwise a great turmoil may occur in this place. I myself was born in the hidden land of Lungkyok in Dokham (Do-Wei-Kang district). I am an insignificant ascetic who travels around for the sake of the Dharma. In the midst of the conflicts between the kings on the border of India and Kashmir, with great perseverance and practice, I have endured countless sufferings in body, speech, and mind. This is nothing but the manifestation of past karma. Know that the arrival of happiness and joy is the compassion of the Guru and the Three Jewels, and that all suffering and misfortune are caused by one's own past karma, and nothing else. Now, what I must do is to follow the teachings of the Supreme Victor.

既然已经历了众多重大事务，并成为了雪域安乐的基石，就应生起毫不动摇的精进之心。为了真正的意义，将世俗谛的虚妄分别之相，通过恩师的加持，转化为胜义谛的本初法性，除此之外别无他法，所以时不时地念诵“ཕཊ་”（藏文，梵文天城体：फट्，梵文罗马拟音：phaṭ，汉语字面意思：啪）以安住。然而，世俗缘起的真理也显得至关重要，因此，我也会尽力运用与自身能力相符的善巧方便。最重要的是，无论如何都不能从慈悲的关怀中舍弃对至尊嘉瓦仁波切的祈祷、救护和劝请等，请您知悉，知悉，知悉。一般来说，本应详细汇报情况，但担心天气寒冷，马匹运输会变得困难，特别是昨天，即藏历初月（མགོ་ཟླ་བ།）初十到达的马匹运输的回信，本打算根据回信详细汇报情况。但现在，这方面的工作繁重，力不从心，所以这样紧急呈报，恳请您以善妙的教言之轮迅速普及，请您知悉，知悉，知悉。如此，以清净的信心和纯白的哈达，在吉祥的良辰吉日，由旺雷德钦南嘉（ཝཾ་ལེ་བདེ་ཆེན་རྣམ་རྒྱལ།）敬献的文书。愿一切吉祥！ 祈愿至尊嘉瓦仁波切事业的执行者，雪域安乐的根本，各位伟大的舵手们知悉。

Since you have gone through many great affairs and have become the foundation of happiness for the Land of Snows, you should cultivate an unwavering spirit of diligence. For the sake of true meaning, there is no other way than to transform the illusory appearances of conventional truth into the primordial nature of reality, the ultimate truth, through the grace of the kind guru. Therefore, I occasionally recite "PHAṬ" (藏文，梵文天城体：फट्，梵文罗马拟音：phaṭ，汉语字面意思：PHAṬ) to abide in it. However, the truth of conventional dependent origination also seems important, so I will do my best to engage in skillful means according to my ability. Most importantly, please know, know, know that I will never abandon prayers, supplications for protection, and requests to the supreme Gyalwa from the sphere of loving-kindness. Generally, I should have reported the details, but I am worried that the cold weather will make horse transportation difficult. Especially, I had planned to report the details based on the reply to the horse transportation that arrived yesterday, the 10th day of the first month (Mgo Zla Ba). But now, the work in this area is heavy and beyond my ability, so I am submitting this urgently. I earnestly request that you quickly spread the wheel of excellent teachings. Please know, know, know. Thus, with pure faith and a pure white scarf, on an auspicious day, this document is offered by Wang Le Dechen Namgyal. May all be auspicious!
