For a long time, relying on the power of completely accumulating and possessing the abundant merits of pure virtue, now, like a cloud of Dharma that has become a treasure of compassion for all victorious ones, drawing near to the great Chakravartin (转轮圣王) who is universally expanding, with joyful activities, for the sake of the happiness of beings, the boat that universally ferries across the ocean of existence, to carry out the affairs of the precious royal lineage without wavering, according to the wishes of the protector of the land of snow mountains, the previous and subsequent letters, also in the form of replies, regarding local affairs and the lineage of Mount Kedara (རི་བོ་ཀེ་ཏ་ར་, Tibetan), arriving at the banks of the Brahmaputra River (བྷྲཧྨ་སུ་ཏའི་རྒྱུན་ངོགས་, Tibetan), is a great honor. I am also in Nepal, doing some of the things that should be done to benefit the Dharma and beings, such as repairing the great self-arisen stupa. If this year can become a great event and be completed, I hope to tightly bind it with the lasso of my own wishes, without abandoning it. At the same time, the commands of the supreme protector of the land of snow mountains and the teachings of the great aspirants have arrived, like a golden yoke, and I dare not disobey. Whatever is to be accomplished by it, whether for individuals or for the masses, will surely have supreme benefits. Therefore, I have embarked on the path to Ngari (མངའ་རིས་, Tibetan, western part of present-day Tibet Autonomous Region, China) on the auspicious day of the red side of the dark month (lunar month). However, during my stay in Nepal, I was not distracted by various thoughts. Previously, when repairing Jarung Khashor (བྱ་རུང་ཁ་ཤོར་, Tibetan, Boudhanath Stupa), I specially offered gifts to the kings of Yambu Yeyang (ཡམ་བུ་ཡེ་རང་, Tibetan, Kathmandu) and requested that each king completely prohibit the killing of animals such as Sarva (梵文：Sarva，一切), Jambuka (梵文：Jambuka，阎浮迦，a type of tree), and Margada (梵文：Margada，摩伽陀，ancient Indian kingdom) in their respective territories, and unless for important matters such as cultivation, do not burn forests, and do not damage the great forests of the sacred sites where cedar trees and other trees grow. These are all important virtuous deeds that have great blessings and glory in Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་, Tibetan, Sanskrit: Jambudvipa), but it is uncertain how they will change in the future, so I must tell the king.
