༈ Oral Instructions: The Unequaled Lama's Words. ༈ Oral Instructions: The Unequaled Lama's Words. Ah Ho! That which is called the ground, the abiding nature of view, The meaning of the diverse realms and faculties at the time of going, The Victorious Ones have said is immeasurable in itself, Although it is known as the view of the nine high vehicles, The ultimate is the primordial nature. Even the Buddhas themselves have not seen it, Examples, words, expressions, and thoughts are beyond comprehension. That which is the blueprint for the entirety of the path, samsara, and nirvana, Is the innate co-emergent of the Great Seal. The Great Perfection calls it the abiding nature of Kadag (primordial purity). Its meaning is without end, without center, without permanence or annihilation. It is free from all mental fabrications, transcending the four extremes. It is without a place or basis, rootless, the root is empty. This meaning cannot be pointed out by anyone, The heart of the Sugata, possessing all supreme qualities, Subtle, clear, profound, peaceful, and luminous. That ground, in its state, is called Kadag (primordial purity), Free from all faults, without even the names of faults or virtues. That which is called the ground, the spontaneously accomplished appearance, Is the blueprint for all that is pure and impure. The meaning is called essence, nature, and compassion. There is not even a name for delusion in the essence. Nature and liberation show delusion and compassion. The truly real is beyond all expression. It is free from birth, cessation, going, coming, and all places. That primordial abiding nature is called the ground. It is known by the term "view." That which is called the path, meditation, Is also that very thing. If the meaning is condensed, this innate self-mind Is unadorned and not corrupted by faults. There is nothing to deliberately cultivate or meditate upon. It is also not lost under the power of delusion. There is no welcoming or rejecting of past and future thoughts. It is free from examination and analysis of present-time awareness. It is left in its own state, free from distraction and meditation. This is not to be thought of as clear or empty. It is free from abandoning, adopting, negating, or affirming, called "abiding and moving." The two, awareness and its own face, are left uncorrected. This is the path of all the Victorious Ones. Although in essence there is nothing other than that, The path of understanding, experience, realization, liberation, and the abiding nature, Is said by Dagpo to be the four yogas. In the Mind Series of the Great Perfection, they are known as the four experiences. Without being moved by the six outer gatherings of conditions, Abiding in that very state is the one-pointed yoga. Without the attack of inner clinging, scattering, agitation, dullness, and torpor, Is the yoga free from elaboration. In the middle, all phenomena of mind, samsara, and nirvana, Having become equal, experiencing the many as one taste. With all phenomena, things, and actions exhausted, It is spontaneously accomplished, therefore without meditation.

The words of Yid No. This is the path of both Mahamudra and Dzogchen. From the Sutra, this very present awareness, Wherever one goes, the mind has no basis to rely on. The meaning is self-knowing, complete in a single state of resting as it is. All the subtle, coarse, and gross thoughts, Let them go on their own, there is no need to eliminate them, Nor is it right to abandon them and then settle down. The meaning is that there is no need to show an antidote, Nor is it to be abandoned from its place, Look at your own face in the natural state of your own essence. Don't let the mind be taken away by ignorance, The meaning is to rest in the unaltered, original state. Like the waves of the ocean, the taste of water is one, Mind and mental events are also one taste, mixed into the Dharmakaya. Happiness is non-conceptual, clarity is not clung to, In the natural state of the mind's own true face, Completely abandon doubts about whether it is meditation or not. What is called peaceful abiding, in the great ocean of peaceful abiding, Superior insight arises, like stars shining. Wavering, without an object, know your own nature. Knowing, throw the conceptual thoughts of knower and known into the expanse. This is always playing in an inexpressible state. To dispel obstacles on the path, increase devotion to the Guru. Benefit others, always cultivate compassion. At all times, remain in the original state without distraction. This is the essence of all that is meditated upon, without a meditator or something to be meditated upon. The meaning is the natural state of self-knowing, And resting without fabrication is the best of meditation. What is called enhancing its power is conduct, Outwardly, protect the pure precepts of the traveler, Inwardly, diligently practice the play of deity, mantra, and samadhi, In the secret path of skillful means, diligently focus on the key points of the channels and drops. This alone is the essence of Mahamudra and Dzogchen practice. Distinguish between abandoning and adopting the good and bad of karmic cause and effect, Examine the root vows that are like the life force. All conduct is also gathered into accomplishing the two benefits. Although the name has a great reputation for establishing the result, There is nothing new that has never existed before, When the qualities and abilities of the self-nature of awareness are perfected, It is called the fruit of Body and Wisdom. The meaning is the confidence of the result without hope or doubt. The Dharma is inexpressible, the confidence of the view of abiding in reality. The mind is unfabricated, the confidence of resting in meditation. Whatever abilities arise, the confidence of conduct that takes the path. In short, all that are called the names of ground, path, and fruit, Are the ordinary, original awareness. Awareness is unaltered, this is its own nature, The terms of mind and fabrication vanish into the expanse. Emaho! This is the true speech of the Supreme One. However, with a little confidence, I only make a slight indication, Only the state of ground, path, and fruit is like a seed. This is the oral instruction of the incomparable Guru. It is the self-realized experience that arises from the power of hearing.
