A song composed out of compassion upon the request of others. A song composed out of compassion upon the request of others. Ah, listen to my song! All you great and small gathered here, The universal lord of all families, immutable light, The embodiment of all Buddhas, Padmasambhava, The incarnate guide of beings in this degenerate age, The supreme Gyalwang Karmapa, father and sons, And the profound treasure revealers and realized ones, I prostrate. Look with compassion upon this devoted daughter. Now, born in Kathok (寺) in Dokham (present-day Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan), The form of a wandering mendicant yogi, Named Kunga Tenzin Norbu, Speaks words of song, free from pretense. Without mixing in falsehood or error, speaking truthfully. May those with generous hearts forgive me. To me, the Dharmakaya wisdom, one and the same, Various perceptions arise in the minds of people. Some see him as an incarnation of the Gyalwa, Joining palms, who can obtain a glimpse of his face? Some see him as an ugly misfortune, Covering their noses with their hands, avoiding him on the road. Some see him as a virtuous practitioner, With respectful minds, requesting refuge and connection. Some see him as a swindler of monastic wealth, Even if alms have been given, they don't look back. Some know him as a powerful mantra practitioner, Requesting a message from the deities and protectors. Some see him as a powerless new mantra practitioner, Suffering various contempt and insults. Some see him as a skillful guide, Offering feasts of provisions at gatherings. Some see him as a shameless rogue, Staggering gait, shifty eyes, acting brazenly. Some see him as a meaningful connection, Serving with respect in body, speech, and mind. Some see him as a possessed simpleton, Fearing the loss of even a handful of flour. Some see him as an accomplished yogi, Requesting instructions to dispel obstacles and enhance experience. Some see him as a mediocre new meditator, Lecturing Dharma with pride roaring like thunder. Some see him as a son of Padmasambhava, With unwavering devotion, placing complete trust. Some see him as an expert liar, Even if words are true, they are misunderstood. Thus, according to their individual karmic power, The perceptions of each being are endless. Some say, "He seems like a good person." Some decide, "He is definitely a fraud." Some think, "This is a pretender."

is. The meaning is either good or bad. This must be either a god or a demon. Hearing these words being spread in all directions. Although this seems to be a very certain conclusion. But the great ocean does not make a clamor, but the small stream in the narrow valley is noisy. Thinking of this example, I can't help but laugh. In general, apart from Shakyamuni and Padmasambhava, ordinary people cannot measure others. Just as one has no good or bad of one's own, it is ridiculous to measure others. However, I can be both a god and a demon. Those with pure appearances see me as a lama. And those with wrong views see me as a demon. In the appearances of ordinary people, there are differences. Examining oneself is also the same. Thinking like this, thinking like this, my head is spinning. Although I am a wandering beggar, in one place, there are one or two villages. Fortunately, I am not proud of being respected. This is not because I have realized liberation. From the age of thirty-four until now, I have associated with some great people. Therefore, I have no new pride. Even if many people scold or respect me, because of my little attachment to this life, I am not surprised. In general, words of praise and criticism are like echoes in a valley. Abandoning and taking are all liberated in self-born awareness. The rope of the false heart has been broken. In general, I, this small yogi, an old beggar. No matter where I go, whether to my own homeland, someone else's homeland, or anywhere. I never dress up in front of outsiders. I have not done any secret bad deeds. Because of the consistency between inside and outside, and the frankness of my behavior, I feel relaxed and comfortable, just a little shy. Although I have not flaunted the acts of retreat, meditation, and asceticism, nor have I flaunted words of pure morality. But I am just following the teachings of the supreme Victor. Apart from helping others, I have not tried to deceive others with eloquent words, nor have I tried to please others with flowery words. I have not had excessive desires and respect for my own mind, nor have I had strong attachments to the phenomena of this life. In general, I encountered the sacred Dharma from a young age. I followed the incomparable lama. I obtained the essence of the Kagyu and Dzogchen teachings. My mind recognized itself at the age of thirteen. I was not deceived by different experiences, but integrated awareness, mindfulness, and wisdom into my bones. I was not controlled by the arrogance of "I am", but wandered around and relied on many lamas. I did not act self-importantly, nor did I speak empty lies, but integrated self-born awareness into unfeigned practice. Worthy of integration.
